It might be bad meat...?
Does this happen all the time? To me, it only happens if the meat is really really old or somewhat spoiled (then it gets this sour tang to it that isn't enjoyable). But I wouldn't say "urine..." cause I don't really know what urine tastes like. But once we had hot pot and my mom got some old lamb out of the freezer and it had a bit of sour tang to it. And sometimes when we have winter melon soup with pork slices, the pork will sometimes take on a sour tang too.

pretty much what these 2 said. eating raw pork IS NOT good for you. and... i don't think you could even compare the 2 things if you haven't been able to try urine before.... kinda gross ^^;;

I know boiled pork has a certain smell to it, thats why koreans add in like onions or other ingredients to get rid of it.
Ammonia? perhaps that's what you're smelling. Since Ammonia and Urine can smell similar. Than again, I never tasted urine either.
