Honestly, 15-25 lbs is more realistic if you're just starting out but there are some people who have lost 30 lbs in 3 months. You'll have to be highly motivated and dedicated to your diet and exercise.

it seems possible from watching the biggest loser, but they shave off ~ 1.5% of weight a week
so it will differ from person to person

this may sound really crazy because it is. but in November, I went from a healthy 105 pound to 87 pounds in three weeks. It was during when college applications were due and my weight dropped significantly. Lost 18 pounds in three weeks. So I think its possible. but i gain those weight back

I lost twenty in a couple months, so I figure it could be possible, if unhealthy, to lose 30 in 3. It would require a toooon of cardio exercise and very little eating, I suspect.

I lost 10lbs in a month with a healthy diet + moderate exercise.
So 30lbs by april may be impossible, but if you are really overweight, you might loose the lbs at a faster pace.
Just watch out for plateaus. It took me 6 weeks to overcome mines @_@

It's possible (: I lost like 10 pounds within a month& a half
from just doing yoga EVERY night and eating mostly chicken salads.
Of course I had those days where I ate greasy food like korean bbq,
but I still did yoga after that so I think it's fine (:
Just be really motivated!

Depends on your stats. What's your height and current weight?
"But when it ends and while it ends, something comes, after so much rage, persistence, obstinacy, extravagance; something entirely unexpected and touching in its mildness and goodness. With the motif passed through many vicissitudes, which takes leave and so doing becomes itself entirely leave-taking, a parting wave and call, with this D G G occurs a slight change, it experiences a small melodic expansion. After an introductory C, it puts a C sharp before the D. . .and this added C Sharp is the most moving, consolatory, pathetically reconciling thing in the world. It is like having one's hair or cheek stroked, lovingly, understandingly, like a deep and silent farewell look. . . . " (Mann: 55).

It depends on how overweight you are. If you're barely overweight, then I doubt it's possible. It's easy to lose more weight when you have more body fat.

It is possible but you failed to mention your current height, weight, and body fat %. assuming you are heavy, then yes this is very possible, assuming you have a healthy weight with a little extra baggage, then it will still be very possible. keep it mind that it is healthy to be losing only 1-3 pounds a week. assuming 4 months, it is healthy to lose 16 to 48 lbs.

^yupyup! depends on your weight now.......If you're already at a normal/healthy weight or slim.....then....no....and I wouldn't see why someone that's not really that overweight would want to even lose that much to begin with.

BUT if not, I think it's very possible...but only with a lot of determination! haha

Difference is between losing WEIGHT or losing FAT. Because you can easily lose 30 pounds of waterweight/fat/musclemass by June. Would it be healthy? Hell no! A more realistic expectation is about 1-1.5 pounds per week. Waterweight comes back, and losing musclemass will just make you fatter later on anyway. Stick to a healthy diet and a decent exercise regiment.

How old are you? It's important to know because if you're still young and growing, it might be very bad for your body to lose that much weight in that more or less short time.
