recently my computer has been showing the Blue screen of death (BSOD) 5 seconds after my computer shows my desktop. i've had to go into safe mode to use System Restore and it did fix the problem temporarily, but the next day the BSOD popped up again 5 seconds after i logged onto my computer. i decided to reformat my computer.

when i got to the part where the computer has to install the drivers to reformat the computer, the BSOD would pop up after the drivers were done installing and the setup was about to begin. i've tried to reformat 4 times but the same thing happened each time.

i have a Dell Dimension E520 computer. i have not downloaded anything within the past 2 weeks and the BSOD problem started 3 days ago.

what can i do to make the BSOD stop popping up. is there any other way to stop it with out reformatting my computer??? if not, how do i stop it from interupting the reformatting process???

There has to be the error codes...
It would always be better if you give us the codes of those BSOD because it helps us to know what the problem REALLY is, specifically.
Can you take them in note or in picture?

Getting a BSOD during reformat and installation is pretty ugly... I suppose you can't log in your windows?
Or if you still can, try to log in your windows without having any device connected in your USB ports. Who knows?
Anyhow, like I said, it would be nice if you write down the error codes or take them in picture. And post them here.
