ABS-CBN is planning on remaking the series. This could be a project for late 2009 or early 2010...

There are a lot of speculations about who should be casted. First it was rumored that this will be given to Nicole Uysiuseng and Robi Domingo of PBB Teen Edition Plus. Then, it was said that this will be a Kim Chiu-Matt Evans project. There were also rumors that Maja Salvador will play the lead role. And now, on wikipedia, it is published that the cast will be composed of the following young stars:

LAUREN YOUNG as Chae-gyung/Janelle

ENCHONG DEE as Shin/Gian

ALDRED GATCHALIAN as Yul/Troy

MICHAELA MELANIA as Hyo Rin/ Monique

Note that this is only according to wikipedia...

the girls are pretty and right on the spot. even the girl playing the main role looks similar to Eun Hye, wow

the Philippines is sort of like taiwan now, making so many dramas based on stories from another country. btw i agree with everyone else, the girls are pretty but the boys are...too baby face but not in a good way?

AHH! ZOMG? So like they are going to wear Hanboks and stuff? I loved Princess Hours, but in Korean only.

TERRIBLE!!

If they were to make something similar to Princess Hours, at least change the plot a little.

Maybe it can be about a Spanish-Filipino noble family, set in Intramuros, or something, as long as they don't wear Hanboks!

Filipino-nized version with Filipino names, seriously, no Filipino really has names like Chae Gyeong, or something (O_o) . . .

I haven't met a Filipino ever who's name was Kim Sam Soon?

this would probably be so funny...
honestly those guys can barely act...
the only person up there who i can honestly say can act is enchong...the rest i've seen but was never impressed...
the last girl I've never even seen in a series...

good luck guys...
i hope that if this is confirmed they won't be cheap and actually do spend money on it...
and how are they going to make others believe that we have a royal family...
the closest thing to a royal family we have are the sultans of Islam...all we ever had was a democratic government...
