By the way,I don't get parents though. Is it awkward for having your child sleeping on your own bed in which you probably have sex on it,before?

my mum n dad have a seperate bed, because my dad alway's working, n my mum like to have a big bed to herself, so i also used to sleep in the same bed with my mum.. i think i was a big baby, i actually like to sleep together, because i feel warm n i like affection from my own mum. you know?
I think it just made me feel closer to my mum and i care about her more. But i didn't always sleep together, just sometimes. But that was a long time ago. I sleep in my own bed now.

However, I've practically slept in the same bed with my mum since forever. I did start to sleep alone around when I was 13y.o. But I have a problem (nothing serious)...I'm afraid of the dark. I know it sounds childish. But I just can't stand being alone in the dark that's why I can't sleep alone.
However when I did use to sleep alone, I had a method of keeping the tv on and then sleeping setting my alarm to 3AM so that when I get woken up I'll be drowsy so I would turn off the tv (my dad's a freak when it comes to wasting electricity) and just go back to sleep cause I'll be so tired. It was efficient.
Until...my bf one night said something to me like stupid ghost stuff like the movie Shutter where the girl is sitting on his shoulders. Yeah so I was freaked out, but I usually watch scary movies at night and still go to bed fine. Just that night I decided to go sleep in my mum's room. She was out late so I was alone, I was asleep until I suddenly woke up not able to move my body but only my eyes. I wanted to scream but I couldn't. It was sleep paralysis or some like to believe a ghost is sitting on you. Whatever.
So as stupid as it sounds, well I stopped sleeping alone ever since that day. I haven't experienced sleep paralysis since that night but I can't sleep alone. I just can't. It's become a problem because it's not normal for me (practically an adult) to have trouble sleeping alone. I just know at least when I get married I will definitely be sleeping with my husband in the same bed!!!

I usually sleep in the same bed as my sister sometimes but we have different covers
I don't think it will affect your future though - you may have some intimacy issues or like attachment issues in future relationships (like you always need someone) but i dont think it affects it as much as you think

I only did that sometimes though, i've always preferred sleeping in my own bed, with the lights out, and its pitch black *_*

There were two beds in my parent's room. One for my mother and me and the other for my father. He snores a lot, that's why.
I couldn't sleep if my mom wasn't next to me
but one day my parents said I was getting too old and that I needed to sleep alone in my own room so I did.
I love sleeping alone now!!!!!!!!
Thank goodness

Well, to answer your question it isn't awkward for me. I had to sleep in the same room with my parents since 4th grade because we didn't have enough rooms. Then I got my own room and that was sorta awkward. Then 5th grade came and my "Bloody Mary" phase came and I started sleeping in my parents room again. Then I went back to my own room. Then in 6th grade the "Spiders Laying Eggs in my Room" phase came, and I started sleeping in their room again. Then in 7th grade I stopped. Sleeping in my parents room isn't awkward or weird because we're Asian and we already once had to share only one room. Now I stopped sleeping in their room altogether because I'm old... and don't like sleeping with my parents, I prefer to sleep alone.
