Let's say if you were the perfect Asian daughter, with perfect grades, a perfect job, a perfect life...in your mom's eyes anyway. Now let's say you get pregnant, you get in trouble with the law, or you accidentally murdered someone...anything along those lines...how would you approach her?
"Mom...please understand that everyone makes mistakes and..."
"Mom...don't' get mad but there's something I have to tell you..."
Does anyone have any ideas? =/

lol. but i'd just clarify
be in her presence for a while... [i only do that when i really have to talk to her]
1. i did something bad. something went wrong. i screwed up.
waiiiiiiiiit a long time..... let her think of a few things.
2. i don't want to burden you, but i need your help this time.
3. tell her.
4. brace for any facial expressions, and try to reassure her of any assumptions she may make.

say that you want her to listen to everything first before she makes a comment. sounds stupid but it works.

I'd just do what I could to secretly get myself out of the situation.
What is it with so many Asian parents and the way they overreact to everything?
