Kissing is generally a result of affection for someone, i.e your parents, close friend of opposite gender, etc. It isn't always a sexual action, sometimes its to show appreciation for your friend. Location of the kiss is also important as well. For example, lips as opposed to on the cheek.

To me, kissing, when it is between a guy and a girl is often a sign of affection and mutual interest in one another. Even if they are just friends, there might be some hidden interest.

So what does kissing mean to you? What thoughts race through your head when engaging in a kiss, if there are any? Feel free to express anything you have good/bad to say about kissing. Maybe even the best kiss you've had or worst.

To me kissing means two people who wanna share their spit.
Thanks to the mods closing my thread, "Ask a gay" is now taking PM questions. feel free to ask me any questions about life, love, and the everyday routine of an openly gay individual living in todays society.

You said it buddy:

That is why I prefer hugging, its just more simple and there is not much of a need to decipher it.

ROFL
sharing spit...niceeeee
Um..when it's two lovers, it's a sign of affection, doesn't matter where, whether it'd be on the cheek, lips, head, hand etc
between other like friends and family is like a sign of admiration and thanking them

/shrugs. i guess its when i wanna show affection. or if i'm feelin it.. (if ya get what i mean) . . .

i've kissed friends, bfs, girls, guys, people i just met that night. either i just think they're real cute or i'm gone like the wind... but sometimes, i'll even think nothing of it... that's ALSO depending on how i kiss... hahaha

if i wanted to, i can kiss someone i don't like but who i find physically attractive... and that's just it.. i only find them physically attractive... iono weird, right? i've also kissed jsut a friend without feeling any emotions or wants of relationship..

blah anyways. as long as they don't have something i don't want (like a nasty virus or something) then i dont care.

Kissing is regarded very highly in my book.
That's probably why I've yet to have it and already in my mid 20's. haha

I've had more than a few chances, but never found someone worth it.
I must be one of those hopeless romantic losers.

LOL.. thats hilarious!!

I used to say that when i was young, but only as a joke.

A kiss is a sign of affection, you can kiss alot of things, not just your s/o, but your new bag, shoes, clothes, etc...
whatever you love.. u might decide to kiss it!!

I agree, it's not to show sexual attraction, because a kiss doesn't mean lust. But it can happen apart of lust.

to me.. in the movies "i want you. now.." ha~

_ but.. it's more of a sign of adoration for me i guess.
hold her close, since she's short -lol- i put one on her head.
"i'm yours." even if it probably would seem to be "be mine."

or just on the cheek. it's adoration .

cheesy complicated meanings, but true..i think.

i've only kissed one person. and my parents on the cheek.

i'd say kissing on the lips is pretty intimate in my opinion (not the quick, chaste kinds some close friends/relatives give each other...never seen that other than in movies though)

nothing goes through my head, lol. it's mind numbing. though the whole actual concept of kissing kind of makes it less...attractive. yes, swapping spit indeed.

Hmm.. depends on who i'm kissing.

My parents well.. they're my parents, so it's just showing them I care/love for them. smile.gif

When I kiss my boyfriend.. something completely different. xD
I love kissing my boyfriend though. smile.gif

I think it just happens when two people are attracted to one another.
First one is a big deal in my opinion, but after that, it's not that big of a deal anymore..

But like family and stuff, I think it's just a gesture of looveeee. smile.gif I love my family! Lol. Muah muah muah~

Uhh yeah so I basically just repeated the poster hahaha. xD

I didn't particularly enjoy my first couple experiences in kissing
so to me, it's an act of lust
of course that differs by person..but seeing how it's become so casual I can't help think that way
