All I have to say about BoA is that when she's dancing, she needs to stop moving around wildly the way she did as a teen. She's a woman now, she needs to abandon that mad dancing style of hers and move more slowly and with more grace. She still jumps all about, what's up with her?lol
It looks bad cos she's already so skinny--by that I mean she's um....kind of flat, but that doesn't mean she can't dance with some poise.
If she's going to try to pull a Britney Spears on us, she'd better learn more feminine dancing from her role model.

^ I don't see what she did wrong with her dancing. I'm pretty sure that's what the choreography called for, since the dancers were executing the moves in the same fashion. Unless the backup dancers were doing it wrong as well? Which I highly doubt. There is no logic with your argument either. How is it that someone's body shape and their size that determines whether they can dance with more 'grace' or 'style'. I've seen and known dancers personally and let me tell you they don't come in a one for all size.

The only thing I disliked about the mv was the sparks that came off her feet when she was dancing. A bit too cheesy and over-kill with the special effects.

The only part I liked about BoA's IDIFL mv was maybe the dancing.

background - black, BoA & dancers' outfits - black, cane - black, chair - black, hand-fans - black.......... It was hard to watch with all the darkness going on.

The only way I knew how to tell BoA apart from her dancers is because she stays in the middle.
There was so much footwork going on, but you couldn't see it clearly.
The blue sparks was indeed, cheesy.
The slow motions and water scene?... Was it suppose to be sexy? It was awkward.
Her entire face looked pale, the only part that was nice was her eyes because that's the only thing that had some color (eye make-up).
Sean Garrett should've appeared only as a shadow or something. ><

The mv could've been made better. The editing was bad.
Even though the dancing was pretty good, I would not watch the mv again.
Maybe it's better if I try watching this on a big screen? ><

Charice has her own thread for a REASON. You can boast there all you want.

The other singers do have some things going on right now, but that doesn't mean the fans have to report it here -- word-for-word, picture-to-picture, in complete details.
It's okay to give us some updates, but you don't have to go in full details.
If any of us were really interested in knowing everything about what's happening with any of these singers, (believe it or not ) we know how to visit their own individual music threads.

And it looked as though she didn't rehearse the choreo enough because her footwork was sloppy. She was all over the place and usually, she's more polished.
Not to mention, she didn't stand out from her back dancers.
On that note, I didn't like her Eat You Up mv either.

You're right about the mv. But I wonder why they didn't let Boa sleep a little or something before filming it? She looked exhausted and deathly pale. SM seems to have forgotten the importance of making sure she looks fabulous, especially since this was one of her first videos in America. They didn't even bother with fans, they could've blown her hair with a fan or something to make it more dramatic. lol. And her outfit could've had a bit of some nice fluorescent colour, green or blue or something. And now that I think about it, why didn't they put some streaks in her hair? Why'd they make the video so bland, anyway? Geez...she would've looked great with some red here and there to light up her face a bit.

I'm trying to figure out what exactly SM is thinking. So if good vocals are not important, looking fab doesn't matter, good song lyrics don't matter either, letting BoA eat so she fills out and looks great in leather isn't important...then really, what are they relying on to make her a success? Please don't tell me it's Sean Garrett. Garrett's put out several megahits, but I don't recall him being in any of the peoples' videos? lol. His presence there did help the mv a bit though, otherwise it would have been BoA's flat, lovely vocoder voice for 3+ minutes, a guaranteed failure I think.

Sean Garrett's songs are normally interesting, with some kind of storyline in the lyrics. "I did it for love" has no such thing and it really makes me wonder. I was thinking about it--if I heard this song on the radio, I would have been a little interested at first, but after hearing the chorus...no. I think this song lacks some melody. I wonder what SM's master plan for poor BoA really is. I think I feel sorry for her, she looks overworked. Wow. I feel sorry for BoA. This is getting interesting.

I wonder what Joseph Kahn was thinking, too? Didn't he direct Britney Spears' Toxic? So what kind of substandard rubbish is this? lol. Does he want BoA to fail? That was definitely deliberate.
