Stops Running At The Windows Xp Blue Screen, Right Before When You Type In Your Password

my windows xp boots up fine, but then it stops running at the windows xp blue screen, right before when you type in your password.
is there a way to fix it??

could be a number of problems.
all you're telling us is that your BIOS works.
and technically your XP does not boot up fine.

try booting in safe mode.




i got five on it.

Right before this problem began, were there any other problems with your computer? Anything unusual?
