I still remember the Janina incident, and how Miss Philippines judges rejected that Cebu representative even though spoke better English because "she doesn't look Filipino enough"(==" ) . . .
Sadly that same representative won Miss Earth for us, imagine what her potential in Miss Universe could have been. WE NEED BETTER JUDGES

I don't know the reason why Karla Henry didn't make it in Binibini but I'm sure it wasn't because she didn't look Filipino enough lol coz we have sent more mestiza looking girls that Karla in the past. It's probably because to be honest, she really isn't that pretty. Stephanie Senires, one of the delegates this year beat Karla in Miss Cebu 2006. But honestly though, Binibining Pilipinas is very Luzon-Metro Manila centred. They don't really bother going out there to the other provinces to recruit other beauties. I hope one day there would be a Miss Davao, Miss Cebu, Miss Tarlac, etc.
But how Janina San Miguel made it and Karla Henry didn't is a BIG question mark. And I don't believe Janina's excuse for stepping down last year. She just chickened out in competing for Miss World.

I don't think that she has an advantage because her boyfriend is the host but I think the Organization is going to give her a crown because in Binibining Pilipinas history, all the runners-up who join again always end up with the top 3 crowns! Abby was 2nd Runner-up in 2007.
the most I want her to get is 1st runner-up lol. There's just too many good girls this year!
