Yep, we just finished reading it last week. It was really boring, imo -__-; We read Great Expectations around Nov/Dec. That book was also boring .__. Right now, we're reading Mythology and going to read the Odyssey soon.

Speaking of Principals. Have you ever had to go up to the Principal's office? Do you like your principal?
Nopee, never been to the principal's office. My school has co-principals. One is chill and the other is pretty strict.

^^^mythology is really interesting but the first few parts of the odyssey was kinda dry x___x
the movie was really BAD though but it's really funny cuz you get to see what bad acting really is. hahaha.
great expectations was really good around chapter 1 but after that, it just starts to slow down and get really boring.
it's a drag reading every night D: oh the glory.

For all of your freshmen taking Biology, how is it? Are you all taking chem next, then phys, etc.? I'm choosing my classes for my freshman year next year and since I only have two electives, I can't decide between Bio Honors and Yearbook (taking Spanish I). It'll be the first year they have Bio available for freshman, but most people are still gonna take earth science/no science. I think I have high enough grades/test scores to get in, but is it really worth it to be ahead?

i took honors biology this year and it wasn't really hard :l i actually really liked it. im skipping science next year cuz im taking AP Psychology and AP World History . so im gonna need to balance my time. i decided to choose to take AP Biology junior year instead of taking chemistry sophomore year cuz i hate chem and physics ;o here in our district, it really isn't required for freshmens to take a science class, it just depends on your math level.

i think you have to take chemistry before you take an AP science class cause i heard it's the basic to AP chem and AP bio. i could be wrong since that's how my school works. saying you have to take chemistry before any AP science class.

i took biology. it was really fun. normal science also deals with a little chemistry in it. Biology deals with real life stuff. cells, diseases, evolution, etc. why don't you have both and have 7 periods.

okay, so i waited in line to register for my summer class for Alg.2 and for the early class i got waitlisted as number 33,but for sure i'm in an afternoon class.
so now i'm going to miss 4 days of conditioning for tennis each week for summer.
this sucks butt, i swear.

^Ah...Gun, Germs and Steel. I had to read that earlier this year (though I'm not not in AP World History as a freshie XD) AND watch the documentary (which I watched in middle school too. TWICE.)

-I did. Not because high school was something new, but because I didn't want to look stupid or dumb. A majority of the people in my class are smart, and A's are awesome. B's are bad and the freak out at the B's. A C is like an F. So yeah. It was also because I wanted to show my freshmen AVID and English teacher that I had the potential to learn and succeed. I also want her to write my recommendation letter for me when I'm a senior too. So I didn't want to leave her with a bad impression. (:
