^^^i have. but i've also been working hard to keep up my grades.
AP world is killin my tush atm. i forgot to turn in one of my summer homework that i have failed to do so i have a D- in the class already. even though i've been doing all the reading, note cards, and the fricken worksheets my teacher gives us EVERY night. i hope the first unit test is gonna be easy though.

other than that, i've been doing good in my classes. i spent less time online & doing hwk. gotta foucus this year! lol

My school emphasizes how important it is to do well, even if you are not a junior. Like, almost all of my friends went out and bought huge thick booklets on how to do well this year- doesn't it mostly count next year?

Ahaha. I think I'm failing physics. I need a tutor like crazy, but everyone around here wants something like 20 dollars an hour. -.- My teacher's a bit loco and difficult to understand. Other than that I think I've been doing okay... oh~ and in Literature I get way lazy to take these boring notes, but as luck would have it, they're due next week and I have only done about a quarter of them. -.-

On the bright side, this year I start fundraising for my trip with the current-juniors to Greece and Italy next year!

for those of you who are losing hope, hwaiting!~

i had a D, C, B last few weeks and i catched up this week. surprisingly, it paid off and i now have a 4.0 GPA. just in time for the progress report that are due for teachers this week ^^ but don't really overlook at the grades you have now. you still have a few months before the real report card comes out. if you are falling behind, look at your grades and see what you did wrong. if you failed a test, don't sweat it and do well on the next one. it will all balance out later on the year once you've actually done a lot of things. but, start to reflect on your grades now before it's too late. fighting guys! hope sophomore year is going well. hang in there!

PSAT is next week. not really thrilled for it. but i'm not sweating about it either...eh :/ i think i should go over the booklet but im really busy with my other rigorous classes @___@'

I joined Spanish club at my school even though I'm taking French. It's more like a service club than anything to do with Spanish though and so far we've done two fundraisers with one more coming up at the end of this month and started volunteering at our local soup kitchen. We haven't voted on officers besides president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer but since my sister and I practically run the club because our president is useless, I'm the unofficial sophmore rep. for now. I really hope I can be secretary next year because I'm already doing everything the secretary is supposed to be doing. I'm also really active with drama club this year. I wasn't last year and it made me super sad 'cause I wasn't able to be inducted as a Thespian. D: Hopefully, I can get an officer position in our drama club next year along with secretary for Spanish club. Just have to keep working hard! ^^

Anyway, I have two Bs. =0 Algebra 2 is kicking my butt because I keep being lazy about homework. I have a B in French because Mme. Woods hasn't put in a lot of our assignments yet and I didn't turn in one of the ones she did record. I haven't turned in two assignments for Acting 3 either though and that's going to be hard to make up points for... Aiyo. School sucks. AP Euro hasn't been hard at all, however. Surprisingly, I love the class.

&& I really want to take the PSAT next week but I haven't studied for it at all and I know I'm going to get a horrible score. The earliest I'll be able to begin studying is Friday because I'm busy 'til then. T_T

LOLL i'm from the bay..and i heard at mission san jose hs ALL the students are really really smart (asians xP)

YEAH! we have an all dayer/all nighter field trip at the end of it! playing games at the park during the day...lunch ..dinner..conference..BOWLING and ICE SKATING THE WHOLE ENTIRE NIGHT (NO SLEEPING) xDDD
yeah..we did dress up in our school colors, and we also decorated our lockers...and class chants and all that.

ugh..my cousin told me it would be fun....but then again, he was in a public high school..private high school is wayy harder :[ (i still love it though)

Sophomores are required to take it. I'm freaking out about it. My AVID teacher made us take the Practice PSAT and I scored SUPER LOW. Lower than all of my friends. -.- So I might cram tmrw. Talking about grades. On my first history test I scored a C. And it dropped my overall grade of a 96% to an 88% -.- Luckily on the second test I scored an A and now my grade is back up to the A range. But a low at (91%). And for English. Omfg. I was freaking out when my grades hit 89%. Now it's back up to an A 90%. LOL. As for my other classes, I have A's. Not so sure about my college courses this semester. Looks like I might be getting Bs. -.-

Talking about SATs. Anyone planning on taking any SAT prep classes next semester or during the summer?
-I for sure will definitely get my self into one of those classes. I need MAJOR help. -.- Not to mention my low vocab. And if you already are taking SAT prep classes, I hate you. XD

What is key club? Aha I sound so lame but we don't have it at my school...

Got my midterm report card back!! Not so hott though I got 2 C- in Literature (mostly because consolation of philosophy was so boring and tedious to do homework on- going to raise it to at least a B though) and Physics (I seriously need a tutor but I can't afford one GAH).

I used a GPA calculator, and unfortunately, I'm under 3.0 (Honor Roll). I'm trying to find an online Phys tutor (is there such a thing?) and I'm already bringing up my Lit grade, plus all 6 of my electives will hopefully bring me to at least 3.5.

My dad told me if I brought all my grades up to a B average with 5 A's, he'll replace my crappy iPod. So inspiration!! Except it'll probably be with his beat up iPod mini unless I get straight A's, which will never happen...

Took the PSATs last week- they were okay, but I didn't know a lot of the vocabulary. It takes an hour just to start the test though, to fill out all the little information circles :x

And we started planning for fundraising for my junior/senior trip to Greece and Italy! I'm so excited~ We go for about ten days, usually over Spring Break but sometimes over summer. It's about 3500 without fundraising, so hopefully we can bring that down majorly. I'm pumped though- we're going to 10x more places than past years because the headmaster (the leader for the trip)'s son is participating now, and it's supposed to be memorable.

Sooo Does anyone know of a (free) online tutoring site, or does anyone wanna tutor me on Physics? xD

What is key club? Aha I sound so lame but we don't have it at my school...

Key, stands for Kiwanis Educated Youth.
Members in the Key Club basically help around their communities, doing charity work, and etc.
Currently, we're collecting donations for UNICEF.
few days ago, my school key club attended the Breast Cancer walk.
It's a great club to join and help our community.

Our district doesn't allow teachers to give summer work.
