Li Yundi (李云迪)
just another pianist from china? not really.

★On a personal note! I watched Yundi Li perform at the Kennedy Center on January 22, 2009 and he was just wonderful with the National Symphony Orchestra playing Ravel'sPiano Concerto in G Major. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do autographs that day but watching his videos and hearing about him from other fans, i heard he is a very down-to-earth guy, very shy, and acts like a normal 26 year old. I fell in love with him when i came across his fantasie impromptu video and from then on i was a hardcore fan of his lol. He's not that popular with the soompi crowd i guess because theres not alot about him around here lol. I honestly think, hes really cute LOL. And if you go to his myspace and look at some of his pictures, he looks like Hiroto from Alice Nine. (in my opinion at least lol) He has talent, looks and he's still pretty young! Whats not to love about him? He may not be as hot/cute as a member of DBSK or SS01 but give this guy a shot lol, really. Anywayss, this is the Yundi Li thread on soompi~ enjoy smile.gif P.S. Watch the Yundi Li Korea Fanmeeting video! This will prove how adorable this guy is! Dont' worry, he speaks in english lol.

i've been a fan of li yundi way before i was into lang lang hahaha li yundi is seriously a music genius. when he plays, the feeling is so different than an average piano player. not to sound cliche or cheesy but it looks like he's having a conversation with the piano when plays. haha he's so cute when he speaks english XD

yundi is adorable, lang lang kind of scares me when he plays but they're both extremely gifted.
In life, opportunity only knocks once.

he reminds me of Takuya Kimura and Bae Yong Jun. i saw some clips of him playing. he exudes great emotions when he plays. it flows really naturally, like he is lost and immersed into the music.

hes incredibily talented and so young too!
