Okay, so I am wondering if you guys or girls have ever seen people in school or wherever act/dress/think like they are in a Japanese or Korean or any other type of Asian drama out there

Uhm let me elaborate if you're confused--

Like let's take the famous Hana Yori Dango drama... anybody in your school or wherever act/dress/think like they are Hanazawa Rui? and then another dude pretends to be Domyouji Tsukasa? lol.

I think I saw a couple people in my school like that and thought it was a bit weird but funny.

And any girls who pretend they live in the "drama" fantasy?

Ah, yeah I know people like that. It gets irritating after a while.
Thought people think I am like that too.
But Honestly, its only because I wear semi-formal stuff at school.
Like a dress shirt and black pants?
I don't know, apparently it looks like I come from a Japanese School.
It doesn't like anyone has a problem with me dressing like that.

But I remember that someone
that pretended her like was this Korean Drama.
I don't know about you, but I found it pretty amusing.
People have a wide range of imagination.

What? People actually dress and act the same way as people in dramas on purpose? That's so silly!!

However, at school I do occansionally hear some,' AISH!!" and "OMO!! OMO!!" from some girls.

If they act/think like they are in a drama, then I would get irritated.
If they dress like the people in dramas, I don't see the annoyance in that... a lot of dramas have good fashion, so no problem.

I thought the thread was going to be about people acting like they were in a k-drama. Funny you went with dressing like it. I don't know anyone who does that, but I know a lot of people act like they're in a k-drama or in a soap. Lol.

LMAO. I don't think I've really seen anyone act like that before. Probably because
there aren't enough Asians who actually watch Korean, Japanese, etc. dramas.

But my friends and I sometimes act like Geum Jandi from BOF, but that's just joking.
We don't go around acting like F4 is following us. LMAO.

YEAH theres like this korean wannabe at our school who thinks "korean". And the references, well, kdramas and movies! He tries to be like Rain/Se7en while we're at it. (His singing SUCKS)

Honestly, what they portray in Hana Yori Dango is kind of what you see in life.

Just think about those cool groups on Your school, they're basically the F4s
Everyone look up to them. Don't everyone look up to F4s?
All the girls like them. Same thing, everyone likes the F4
They're Hot, or so you think so. F4s...... they're elitez
Majority are spoiled Kids, smoke, get bad marks, etc etc. in Hana Yori Dango they're portrayed as Rich Kids, to show how they are spoiled. Okay not really spoiled, but they're not the type of study guys.


So IMO, F4 is just a portrayal of the Cool group of the society. You find them in most school, there's gotta be those 1 particular group that Just stands out becoming the cool guy.


And BTW, those Dramas are actually true to an extent.
The only BS thing, and one that the girls actually want to happen is the pairings, and how they meet, etc.
For example, Lovely Kim Sam Soon, an Ugly girl is paired with a decent guy.
In Full House, a normal girl is paired with a really famous star.

These are what makes these drama FULL OF BS, and are so not true. And how they meet each other is even bs.
Other than that, other aspects of It is true to an extent I guess.

my school is FILLED with those kinds of people.
where the heck to i start...

one girl, from before, came up to me and she was like "I have cancer. i go to the hospital everynight at 8pm and I watch 7 rules on family."
and i was like OKKK and it turns out she doesn't, obviously. she told me that in.... grade 5 i think. now i'm in grade 8. she's still alive~
her fibs go to an even LARGER EXTENT.
but i'm not gonna go on.
she thinks her life is a drama or a television series. i'm serious!

and this other girl laughs like somebody she's not. my friends always tries to show me things INDIRECTLY. i hate that. like when they get something new, instead of telling me, they walk right in front of me on purpose to show me that new thing. btu they pretend they're just getting something. but they walk back to their desk, empty handed. yeah. i really get annoyed when people show me things indirectly! argh! you're my friends! TELL me! geez.... lol XD

OMFG. AND THIS OTHER GIRL. so many strange girls that think they're in dramas... anyways...
ok so let's say one day i watch a TV show. and the person says something.
the next day, i hear this girl say EXACTLY THE SAME THING to me.
she like used the EXACT same line on me from that tv show out of the blue. like out of nowhere. i wasn't even talking to her! she just decided to use it!

i sound like a total bum now. but don't get too frustrated at me D:
