Lol. Yeah I was gonna say tan. Go out and get some exercise in the sun! Play some sports or something.

I'm serious
if you're asian (which I'm assuming you are)
then you might have the same problem as me.
Black hair makes me look pale and sickly... even if I'm perfectly healthy (which I'm assuming you are)
Lightening it up really helps make my complexion look better ^^
but like everyone said, you might just need a little sun =]

I guess it's just how I look (sucks to look like you're sick)
I start changing my hair color to a lighter one like natural red to brown. It helped out alot.
I even start being more active by moving around and going out. My skin got tan.
I also ate carrots everyday for one summer and I got this slight glow. (I ate like 10-15 baby carrots per day)
It may be the combo of sunny weather and the carrots because I never had that light tan glow before and I was wearing sunscreen as well.
Also a bit make up helps, such as brush and simple draw on the eyes to help you look alive.
Now I'm inactive and the pale sickly is coming back.
=edit=
Oh yeah... biting your lips brings out the red. Also brushing your lips (according to my experience that is)
Also maybe exfoliate once in a while.

People here don't understand that tanning isn't the best option if you are the pale that reacts to the sun very quickly, especially if you get sun burnt and get freckles even with the use of sunscreen. If not, I advise you to get a tan then.

I agree, tanning is probably not the first thing you wanna put yourself through.
