Now I'm in my 20's and I've seen my fair share and have been in my fair share of relationships, and I'm gonna just gonna say this, do you think there are a lot MORE girls that don't mind or even expect domestic abuse ?

After this whole CB and Rihanna scandal, I've read some many girls on forums or talked/argued with girls about this topic and the girls are usually attractive. I never knew this about females, I mean maybe I've seen it being joked around about or whatever but I'm really surprised.

Why do so many girls defend him ? Is it cause he's a pop star ? Is it cause that to some girls domestic violence is alright to them ?

From my experiences so far some girls/women like to be mistreated. Not just physically either. 2 examples come to mind. Girl 1. My cousin's gf. He takes from her financially all the time, and she's just ok with it. He cheats on her. She sees some of the signs, but it's almost like she refuses to accept what's going on.

Girl number 2. My old next door neighbor and I went out on a date last summer. During the date she tells me her on and off again bf put his hands on her in a bowling alley. What kills me is she said she wasn't mad he put his hands on her. She said she was just embarrassed. I don't know why some girls/women like to be mistreated? It's starting to become an ongoing trend.

i dont think girls/women like being mistreated,
i just think that they wanna make their man happy.
by giving them what you want.

but as for the chris brown and rihanna scandal,
i think it was rihanna's fault, according to the stories
i've been told. i was told that she was the one who
threw his keys. that's not very nice. i mean, yea he
texted girls and did a lot of effed up things, but if
she doesnt like that, she can always leave him.

I guess love is blind. I'm pretty sure most girls don't want to be involved in a domestic violence in all sorts but sometimes she loves the guy so much that she can just overlook it and always think that maybe one day he'll change.

This is because girl's like bad boys, and they think they can change him. It has been proven in the bad boy thread.

I want to believe that most of the girls defending CB haven't experienced/witnessed domestic abuse first hand. I cannot fathom how someone WANTS to be treated that way, unless they are true masochists. The only explanation I can have for women staying with abusive men is love or fear. But still, even those women don't want to be treated like that .. they just can't escape.

Rhianna's fault? Sorry, that doesn't even deserve a smack. She threw his keys after he started beating on her.

A lot of women think that they're "so in love" with their abuser ... its sad... cause they think by staying that he'll change. Maybe they defend him cos they're in the same situation and don't want to admit it, or hate Rhianna and don't want to admit that Chris Brown did a really bad nono. IF he was anyone else, everyone would want to throw the books at him.

Because they're Chris Brown stans. Simple as that. Which I don't understand, his music is awful and he's nothing original. Same with Rihanna, but nevertheless...

Also, women are harder on women than they are on men.

I don't know about the whole attraction bit, but I know that women usually stay in abusive relationships because she "loves" him, that he has his own flaws, that he can change. I think that sometimes these women love their guy more than themselves. And a lot of the times, women feel that they have more to lose by ending the relationship, so they just don't do it.

That still doesn't explain why so many females even this one right here is defending her.

It's like most of the girls will FIND ANY WAY to justify his behavior.

You should read the police report that TMZ released. It said that Chris Brown was having an ongoing sexual affair with another woman for a 1 year 1/2. Rihanna found out and that is when the argument broke out, causing CB to attack Rihanna. Then Rihanna took his keys and sat on it to prevent him from driving crazily with one hand while beating her up his right hand.

Haha, yea my sister told me about that also. And I saw the video yesterday where he was in court live.
And something about chris brown saying to rihanna: "wait until we get home, I'm going to beat the **** out of you" or something like that O_o. LOL

I don't care if she lite him on fire and tried to bite his little buddy off, no guy should ever hit a girl. unless it's in the bedroom adn they like it rough or something. lol. But I have to be blunt: some girls are just stupid! Who knows why it's a lot of attractive girls. All I know is that if a guy even tried to touch me, I'd break his face.

Lol wow. She threw his key and as a response she gets her ass beat up for throwing keys? Throwing his key was not very nice but is it "nice" for him to response that way. After reading the description on what he did too I am completely shock.

I haven't been in domestic violence nor do I want to but I do wonder why girls would prefer to stay even after being abuse.
Beautiful women may make men swoon and other women will tremble but true love always keep the faith.

why do hot chicks get abused? x_X' if you're asking that, then it's because they're in the light more. rather than someone hiding in the corner.

why do hot chicks accept it? _ as they said . they make friends with bad boys. and see some good . and think they can change 'em. perhaps they can with marriage and kids- so i hear.

..it'd be less drama if you just picked a good guy. xX' but ah well. women love dramas and soap operas..

Because you really want to be treated like sh1t by your boyfriend.
Girls have dignity, too.
I think your assumption is wrong.

Women just love perfect endings. They are hopeful and often believe in change. They probably stay because of love, nothing else.

I agree.. a lot of girls are attracted to the bad boy persona and unfortunately sometimes this includes the wrong types of guys who will be abusive. If the girls are smart, after few of such relationships they will realize what is wrong and change their pattern of dating. But unfortunately it's really hard, if impossible to change who you're attracted to.

Isn't Rihanna and Chris Brown back together again?

Guess she didn't learn her lesson.

Wow. She threw his keys, therefore she deserves to be beaten.
...I don't know why I even read threads like this anymore. They always manage to piss me off.
