Today, after my mum and sister got back from a week holiday, my mum said "You wouldn't have liked it at all". I agreed because I don't like the sort of lazy/shopping/slow walking holidays they go on. She followed this by saying "You don't really have any interests at all do you?". Now, that is was gets me annoyed. She comes out with that sort of stuff every now and again and it really bugs me. I hate it when people think that you have no interests or passions just because they don't understand them/don't have the same ones as you do. Just because I don't have conventional hobbies and interests like sports, animals, writing, art and things like that doesn't mean I don't have any interests. I get so frustrated sometimes because I feel that no one (but in particular my family in this case) understands who I am and what I like. I'm passionate about Korean music and Asian culture and languages - get over it and get used to it. I wish my mum would stop trying to force me to go to university to study History or English Literature or an 'academic' subject and try to shape me into who she wants me to be because I am who I am, and that's not going to change just because she wishes it would. I'm fed up of being forced to consider myself a failure because I don't conform to her expectations of what a good daughter should aspire to, look like and be interested in.

well my dumb brother is begging my mom for money and to take him out. oh i wish i could just watch my youtube videos right now in peace, but i cant because hes like hecka yelling. i just finished mopping the floor and it takes forever to dry. if mom comes down and sees it wet, she'll get mad. so i hope my bro shuts himself in his room until the floor is dried so i wont get in trouble. yep i get yelled at for stupid reasons. like i was making food too slow this morning...hes getting mad and ruining things. and im just down here at the computer. i want to go out too but that means depending on someone to drive me somewhere and give me money and i hate depending on people now. i depend on ppl to teach me things, and give me things, take me places. goshness. i wish i lived in the city where i could just take the bus or subway to go where i want to go. and just hang out late out night. ok hes yelling now. i wished he'd gone fishing all day so i wouldnt have to listen to this. gosh i have 2 projects to finish but i got interrupted into mopping. ok i should get going to do other things <3taec
