long story short, been experiencing misfiring issues, hence the coil packs overheating thus exploding for several months now.
lost count but i prob went through about 6 new coil packs (aftermarket and a genuine nissan coil) now, thank you warranty.
it first started off with the coil pack from cylinder #2 that blew up. weird thing is, this kept happening for cylinder#2 until i swapped out the coil pack from cylinder #4 to #2, just to test and see if the aftermarket coils were the issue. Now, its not the coil pack from cylinder #2 that blows up but cylinder #4.
i checked the continuity and voltages for all the wires of the coil harnesses according to the FSM specs. there ALL FINE. the harnesses are not the issue.
i already posted this on the max and nico forums w/ little to no luck. hoping theres a gear head or someone more electrically inclined than me can help me out or have any other ideas as to what the issue could be...
