do any of you guys have girlfriends/boyfriends that are picky eaters, or have you dated one?

my boyfriend is ; and at first i didnt mind it, but its getting to a point where its annoying.
basically whenever we go out, lets say we go out for viet food, he either doesn't eat, just gets plian white rice or goes to mcdonalds and eats it inside the viet restaurant.

i try not to let it get to me but its freekin hard to just pick a place we can both eat when we go out.

have you guys ever had this expirence?
please share (:

Oh man that is a freaking turn off. I like it when I can force a guy to finish my meal. Iono... maybe I associate the ability to eat with manliness. I was "talking" to a guy before (aka we never dated) but he was even more picky than I am and man, I really didn't like that.

i got the same problem as you!
my bf is so picky
he cant eat any fast foood without ketchup
if theres no ketchup then he'll just keep complaining

aat first i was like whatever but now its annoying.
also when we get school food, he'll be super picky
if there isnt something he likes-.-

he likes to mix red hot sauce with ketchup
so if one of those are missing he'll complain
i just ignore it sometimes i complain about it
but if he doesnt want to eat then fine, cause im hungry xP

then go to a place where you both liked it.

I mean, you shouldn't complain that much, after all, you guys choose to be with him.

I'm glad that my s/o is not a picky eater, he eats whatever is there unless if it's really gross then it's understandable.
I think I'm the picky eater out of us two..

My boyfriend isn't a picky eater at all, and I love it because he always finishes what I can't eat. There are only a few things that he's picky about and they're durians, fish sauce, any type of fish (except sushi and grilled salmon), and some other ones. I love fish tears.gif

Your situation is altogether... unique... I suppose... Because if I think about this issue, I see that almost every single person has a hidden prejudice against some kinds of foods. For example, recently I rediscovered Thai food, but before that I was vehemently against taking my girlfriend out to eat. However, your boyfriend seems to be just one difficult case.

I can't really say I've ever dated anyone that was a picky eater... but I have always expressed my annoyances at people who have small appetites. Thankfully, my girlfriend and I are both not very picky when it comes to food. I express my condolences for your experiences and hopefully he'll change--like I did with Thai food--some day!

Good luck.

He better not be. Or I woulda whoop his ass if he is. tongue.gif (Jk)
Although he eats like he's in a competition. I always have to tell him to slow down.

my goodness, I would have gotten so pissed if my boyfriend bought food from another restaurant into another.
My boyfriend is really picky too, but since getting together with me, I make him try stuff. And so he is a little more open to eating stuff nowadays.
If we go into a new restaurant, I order one dish. I'm not a picky eater, I'll eat anything. Unless the food is really really crappy.
He will try it, if he really does not like it, I will just finish it. That way we're not wasting money. happy.gif
And we won't order anymore dishes.

Just incase my poor bf is really hungry, we won't to any unfamiliar restuarants.
My proof safe dish is usually soup. HAHAH

ehhh I'm a picky eater, but not as bad as your boyfriend.
My boyfriend usually suggests places I say yes or no.
If we're both ify, I go and try food anyways, if I like it great, we'll go back, if not my boyfriend will eat it smile.gif

Well, I'm a picky eater but I try not to make too much of a big deal about it. My girl doesn't mind. :]

No he's not. Some picky eaters make me want to shove food down their throats, just so they try tasting it before they judge. If my s/o was a picky eater and just hated a lot of foods, I don't care I'd just decide what I want eat. Let him eat whatever he's comfortable with eating later when I'm not there.

I'm the picky one but I'm still willing to try....as long as he's willing to finish it all for me.
I hate people who refuses to try though. My friend's bf refuses to eat anything asian except for chicken balls and fried rice.

I love my boyfriend. He eats what I dont want to eat anymore but when he's really full, he wouldn't eat it. He's good with anything. =) I made him like hot sauce too because I eat hot sauce so much!
all smiles.

i'm a picky eater. people asked how does he cope with me. and he said it's pretty easy to just get everything plain. LOL.
and wait for my tone. so when he sees me thinking of something, he'll keep it in mind and get that food. haha.

My bf eats anything, I'm the picky eater, but not to that extreme where I bring food from macdonalds to a restaurant.
I think he gets annoyed sometimes at me and tries t oget me to eat things that I leave out (I usually leave out vegetables/onions and that), but I think he's used to it now
