Additional Sat Scores

>.< I got a question... I feel so stupid asking this ._.
When you send your additional SAT scores through Collegeboard
and they say:
"We sent the following scores on (date)"
does that mean they sent it and the colleges has it on file now? or
did they just sent it, and it takes another while for the college to have it on file?

im curious about this too...dont feel dumb.
im also slow about how college works..and scores and apps and all that. @_@
