So i have been w my gf for a while now and everything is going great. I love her so much. However, she tells me that she had a couple of drinks during New Year's and kissed her best friend, first she said they made out but upon seeing my responses to this she said they just "kissed" a couple of times. Regardless, early on in our relationship I have established that kissing is cheating and a kiss should only be for ur S/O when ur in a relationship. Anyways, when i confronted her about it, she makes it sound like im the one overreacting. She says that she sees nothing wrong w her kissing her best friend whom she feels no sexual attraction towards. I hate how she wont admit that it was her fault and that she tells me this 3 months after New Years. Its MARCH NOW!!! Y did she keep it from me for so long? I dont know what i should do, she just says she wishes that i understand. Thats not even an apology. I seriously feel like i was cheated on. If she doesnt feel that its wrong, whats going to stop her from kissing another girl ever again. She did promise she wont kiss anyone else cuz now she knows i think its wrong. Well she shouldve known i thought it was wrong when i told her kissing anyone but ur S/O is wrong. I dont know what to do =( I love her so much but i feel so betrayed by her, and the fact that she doesnt think its wrong isnt helping =(. Should i let it all pass or what?

If it's a girl that she kissed don't worry, because when people are drunk that stuff happens. And, if shes not bi then no worries (don't assume shes bi because she kissed a girl... if she did kiss a girl?). So basically, if its a girl she kissed just don't be too serious about it. If it was a guy, then thats trouble.

To be completely honest, I would care less about the kissing, but more about the way she's acting about it.

Acting like it's your fault for not "getting it?" It sounds like she's the one who needs a reality check. SHE messed up, and you did nothing wrong. Did she honestly, wholeheartedly expect you to be like "Oh, no big deal LOL!" when she told you she got wasted and kissed some girl? That's just plain dumb. If at the very instant she told you about this, you said that you also got drunk on new years and kissed your best friend (guy or girl, no matter...), she'd probably have the exact same reaction you're having. Besides the fact that you already established that you thought something like that was wrong, and that she went ahead and did it, should say something.

I hate to sound like the typical "dude," but don't just let something like that pass. If that's how she reacts to her mistakes, then it might be a little something called "foreshadowing." If she can see that it's hurting you, and won't apologize for her mistake, not even a fake apology or one out of pity, then take note of it.

unless of course you actually are overreacting, and it was like... just a peck or something, and not making out or anything like that.

Lol okay well on real dude...you shouldn't be upset because girls kissing girls at the club wen ur drunk is very common. No...she did not cheat on you. Girls do this all the time. You would be more threatened and hurt if it was a guy that she kissed.
