Wow its been like almost 2 years since ive last posted! I doubt any of you guys remember me lol, is Paul still lurking around the forum? He's the one with the black fc lol. Anyways if you guys remember my post of my new camry from ages ago, she looks a bit different now.

Work Emotion CR Kai 18x8.5 ET+43 running 225/45/18 Dunlop Sp Sport 8090m

It's actually lowered on H&R's but there is still a gap, hoping to swap for some Teins soon, besides that not much really, mostly dress up accessories.
6000k HID, 2500k yellow fogs, misc TRD dress up parts in engine bay and cabin and K&N high flow air filter. Wells enjoy lol, oh and if you are wondering thats a black 88 turbo II rx-7 under cover

looks really clean.. doesn't look like a "family car" at all like what camrys are supposed to be.. i actually considered getting that model before i bought my current car. i think the car would look even cleaner if you have the emblems shaved off. that model is definitely the best looking toyota sedan ever.

yeah i was also looking at the accord and mazda 6, the camry was a new model that year and it just got my attention lol, i think its a huge improvement over the previous generation in terms of looks, well in Se trim anyways. But the accord is actually pretty nice inside although the coupe looks 1000 times better. I'll snap some pictures of the fc later and its actually my friends car. He doesn't drive it during the winter and he has no storage space at his apartment so this is where she sleeps now lol.

I never realized it before, but now I can see the resemblance to the Corolla S. My friend has the Corolla in the exact same color, and it looks so similar. The rims look good, and the subtle drop also looks good. It is also something I plan to do when I buy a sedan.

Thanks Zigen, my car doesnt look dropped really unless I park next to a stock Se for comparison, stock height is ridiculously high and the same goes for the newer cars these days if you compare them to the older models. Plus, I actually lost almost an inch in overall wheel diameter despite going up a size. My previous setup was 215/55/17 stockers and had about 3.5 fingers clearance on the fenders. Might either swap with Teins or get 245/45/18 for my next set of tires. Yeah I definitely can see the resemblance there! The new corolla's have my 2.4L 2AZ-FE as an optional engine as well lol.

I've never seen those wheels look as good on any other car as it does on yours. It really stands out yet flows with the car perfectly. Really.

On your next set of tires get a thicker sidewall. (Maybe the 245/45/18 will work with Teins?) Beefier rubber will fill the wheel well to enhance the overall meaty look of your car. Lower profile sidewalls make me paranoid because I've had an impact break going through a dip (and it was on a stock (!) tire). Also try to keep your speedo accurate by preserving stock diameter dimensions (online tire calculators can calculate this if you search on google). These are just some pet peeves of mine. mellow.gif

ahah I know what you mean! You have no idea how much research I've done prior to buying the wheels and tires. I wanted the stance yet wanted drivability too, I've looked into the 18 by 9.5 and explored all the possible offsets then went to the 8.5's. AFter i plugged in tire sizes, offsets and the gist to see if I would clear my struts/fenders and came to the 225/45/18 as the second closest match to oem spec. 235/45/18 were expensive and harder to find brands that manufactured this size but were the perfect diameter. I just ordered some Rays duraluminum lugs today because I was paranoid my current ones would warp since they are some cheapo brand. I hope the Rays will be a good long term investment because it was the most expensive lugnuts I've ever heard of and then bought lol...

Nice, which model are you thinking of? I was also looking at a set of volk re30's and the enkei fs01 (aka AME Tracers) those enkeis are sexy!! Before the Works I had a set of BBS RK's in 17"s. I think i may be a little obsessed with rims as i am with nikes lol
