Anyone know what sites i can use to research about different auto parts and their uses? im doing a research paper on different auto parts and their uses. I googled but i failed at it.. i dont think what im typing in is helping me get the info i need.

It will give you the basic definitions. When you need to know more, just google the specific term. Also, if you own a car, your car manual might have some things you can write about.
It's also missing a couple of parts, especially things under the hood or hidden in the back or under the car (like a catalytic converter). Use multiple resources and it shouldn't be that hard.

depends on the part but you can try howstuffworks.com They have a fairly good explanation on how transmissions work.
