I have very muscular calves, and I heard that stretching them would help them get a little thinner.
So... any calf stretches? Or other ways to get thinner legs from muscular thighs?

Contrary to popular forum belief, stretching does not lean people out.
Lean out by cutting fat or you could always wait it out and wait for atrophy
and just be skinny fat.

i thort it did O_O
I used to do calf stretches for like 5mins every morning and my legs were skinnier and longer
well not longer but they werent as stumpy as before
like i would be on my hands and feet with bum in air (if u know the position) like this ---> /''\ if tht makes any sense
but anyway my body would go forward and then i would make my calves go the other way
i could feel my calves stretching [ya kno tht stretchy feeling]
i feels like it worked

I have huge calves, too!! I HATE IT!!!! NO!!!!! >_< Sometimes, I wish I could blow off all the muscles/fat on my calves with a potato gun or something!! It's too embarrassing to wear shorts/skirts.....but I've been doing some jogging for long distances and stretching my calves before and after I exercise. It actually seems like it shrunk a little. I think the jogging for long distances is significant because it creates "slow-twitch" muscles which are leaner muscles.
So....don't do sprints or any exercises that require a sudden burst of energy for a short period of time because that creates "fast-twitch" muscles which are much thicker. ^^ I....hope....I helped......but most of the time its......EPIC FAIL.......

I've never tried this, but I've seen Japanese and Korean girls rolling glass bottles along their calves to make their legs leaner XD There are exercise products out there that reduces calve muscles, so maybe you can look for that one?
Simply Massaging helps too =) (this one i've tried!)

definitely the long-distance running.
20 min is usually the recommended amount of time.
no quick bursts of energy
also, go on the elliptical
i heard this was actually better than running
because its working out your legs and your more gliding
stretch before and after as well :]
i do yoga and pilates, and that helps :]

Haha I learned about the "slow-twitch" and "fast-twitch" thing in one of my classes
If you want to build muscle, do fast, short distance running (sprinting) or just cardio exercises
If you want to train your body to burn fat, then do exercises where you can talk while doing it, like slow jogs, and going on the elliptical.
