So after running for a couple minutes yesterday to DQ, I found out that I was officially out of shape. I was huffing and puffing, and my heart was going a million miles per hour. I should've taken gym again this year... but anyway, what should I do to get myself back into shape?

Train yourself to fight an army!
Well on a serious note, start going for runs like 4 times a week and just staying active.
Start slow and work your way up. Might want to watch the diet too, running to DQ lol.

Hire a drill instructor!
Just kidding. Keep it up with whatever you're doing. Start small until you get the hang of it and then increase the intensity/duration to the next level.
If you have friends who are in the same boat as you then it's a good thing since it's more fun getting in shape together instead of doing it alone. Help motivate each other to do better and what not.

run as much as you can everyday, and slowly you shold be able to run more and more each day with your speed increasing.
but you have to keep up with it, no week-long breaks (haha i know from experience[; )

speed walk for 30 minutes for a week or so. then do it for an hour for a week or so. then speed walk for the first 30 minutes, and then jog for 10 and blah blah. keep at it.

Haha, thanks everyone. I was only running to DQ because my friend wanted ice-cream. I didn't get anything myself.

Just jog around frequently and do some easy toning exercises like pushups, squats and crunches.
And most of all stretch. :]
Yeah... if youre out of shape then just start out small and easy, no need to push yourself to death.... yet.
