Heyy~ ^^ I just wanted to know how I can start getting focused on my studies. I mean I know I have to and all but I'm a procrastinator. I always do stuff that I want to do first like computer or TV and then start my homework..
The thing is that I just can't get myself to do my homework. I always fool around and whenever I try to study I end up sleeping. If I do try to study till 1 am I end up sleeping beforehand and I can't wake up with the alarm clock.. T-T!!
I mean I'm SUPER lazy and nothing really motivates me to do anything.. and I don't want to drink coffee when I try to study late at night (or energy drinks). I just have no clue what to do!!!! It's really annoying/frustrating now and I'm really disappointing all those people who expect me to get all A's. I know it's a bit too late to raise up my grades to A's but I want to try. Any suggestions, helpful comments, ANYTHING that'll help! T-T??!?
Please and thank you in advanced! =]
Yes, I know I'm being lazy @.@~

no way! me too.
haha.
i try to make promises to myself.
like, if i want to watch boys before flowers, i have to finish hw in one of my classes first.
or i try to think of college and where i want to go, and what i want to be.
or..i just bore the crp out of myself and then end of feeling lazy. and do my hw that way.
or do it during school. haha.
ahh procrastination!

I know how you feel. I bought so many energy drinks and coffee to keep myself focused last semester, but they didn't really help. I still got distracted...
bombb_: LOL, you're like me. To watchKim Bum BoF or not to watch? I always end up choosing BoF over homework though. :x *bad influence*
If you're not infected with senioritis like me, I suggest thinking about your goals and how your academic performance will impact it. Just keep telling yourself "If I don't raise these grades, I'm never going to get into ____!" That's what kept me motivated sophomore and junior years.

haha i used to be like that
one thing u could do is finish your homework in school,
like if your school lets you stay after school or go to the library for lunch
what i do is just not turn on anything like my tv or computer when i get home
i put down all my stuff and pull out my homework
it's easier to do once you get started
it's just that you think so much about how ugh you gotta get started and everything on it that you procrasinate
(well for me it is lol)
(not exactly) - the first thing i do when i get home is exercise, but that might help for you too
cuz then i become more focused and i'm able to do my homework
try not to multitask on homework
your brain might lose focus or get confused
um what else
oh you could do like half the homework, then take a break, but set a limit for the break and finish the rest later

I have the same problem...so after school I drag my butt to the library and sit there until I finish all my hw.
you can't really fool around on the computers in the library and there's no distractions so it works out really well.

I got one: don't come on Soomp
lol it's a suggestion. I know what you mean. Everyone has those problems. What I did for like a week is that I only had music playing on my computer but turned my screen off. I spend about 45 min doing hw and after that, 10-15 to switch, get water, and check some emails. I found that helpful but I couldn't keep up with it.
And if its finals or AP week, go to the library everyday after school to study or do whatever you need.
but I suggest don't stay up late studying. If you can't get anything in by 10-1030, 11 the latest, go to sleep.

arrrghhh i have the exact same problem and i was just about to start a new thread asking if there was something wrong with me.
><"
ive gotten a whole heap of hw for the holidays and like there is like 4 days left to do it and ive done nothing.
i dont know how i can actually do it cause im just sick of it already.
how do you guys managed to do it?
cause i have no motivation either, ive said to myself many times to wake up earlier and do my work but never works, i just continue sleeping.
im in need of serious help. im either watching tv or doing random things on the computer. =="
urgh i have my work right infront of me yet i im not doing it.

Ughh my number one problem.
What I usually do is think about college and also my friend who's rank one at her school (she like kills herself).
Sometimes it doesn't work though. The desire to do other stuff overrules it. T__T
I hate my life. I'm actually on soompi to keep myself from doing hw right now AGH (not to mention it's 1:27 AM right now. someone shoot me).
I always come to this college section to motivate me, too. haha

Simple: You mess up now, you pay for it later. Do you want to be THAT kid who didn't get in anywhere while all your other friends got into a decent school? Get off the internet and only go on if you NEED to research...otherwise why the hell arent you in the library studying?
