i just bought these awesome DVDs at Yesiasia.com by credit card ( i'm using ,mastercard btw)but after they confirmed the purchase, they sent me the letter saying that they cannot verified my address but i'm sure that i got it right then after that, they keep asking me for a copy of my front and back of my credit card(i can black out the middle digits on the credit card) or a copy of my credit card bill

basically , they just want to verified my adress but my mum keep saying that they can make fake credit card out of the copy ( and it's true dry.gif ) and so i keep hesistaing whether to just copy the things they needed or cancel it and make a new order . i'm living in autralia btw. the only solution i got why they can't verified my address because i'm living in a granny flat now and i wrote (UGRFL < not sure how i wrote i but somthing like that) on the address i gave them and since they're like asian (no offence wink.gif ) i think their system can't recognise it and yeah, that's my only solution

Can anyone help me with this? Should i give the the copy or cancel or something else?
is it trusworthy?

VERY VERY VERY VERY SORRY FOR THE LONG BLABBERING PLEASE HELP tears.gif

Me and my buddies order from them all the time for our import goods, we've never had any problems like this.
In this situation, i'd recommend just canceling it and replacing the order. Have you ordered off the internet before?

Feel free to drop by and chat =]

What does UGRFL even mean LOL
i bought stuff from them before and didn't get any problem so i think yu should just cancel yur order and place another one. Instead of posting yur granny flat why dont yu post it to someone else yu trust and know where they live then pick it up from them

There are times when YesAsia is super slow since they ship stuff from overseas. However, the great part is that there is no sales tax (here in Cali). I've ordered stuff like DVDs, CDs, games, and even food but I've never actually tried ordering electronics. I find them very reliable.

I wouldn't say this is common, but verification errors do come up. I have had a similar issue with YesAsia, but this was years back. Actually, since I'm living in Hong Kong now, I really have no need for their site - but I can say that I've had some problems with Karmaloop with the exact same thing. I wrote my address almost to cue, but keep in mind, as a business, they are essentially liable to pay in the event something goes awry with your transaction from the credit card company. Not only are there chargeback fees for them for any fraud report filed - but they may also be sending the goods to the recipient in this case too.

Hope all goes well mate!

I suggest paying by paypal. I've never had any problems with YesAsia in terms of getting my items, but I would never give them or anyone my credit card number/picture in general.

And I don't think it's because they're Asian, they have to work with the post office to send the stuff and the address needs to be an official address to send it or it won't work. Try to find out the official address of where you live, and use paypal to pay for it.

I order from Yesasia and yesstyle a lot, there's never been any trouble for me.

Umm what you can do is call their costumer service and have them solve ur problem for u. lol that's what I always do

In my opinion I think yesasia is trustworthy... I order from there countless times already XD it is definitely reliable so no worries about them scamming you or anything. But i guess id prolly think they are trying to do something weird if i was in your moms shoes. So yeah just cancel the order and reorder it happy.gif or like what CandyXx said... you can always try calling customer service biggrin.gif

I suggust you to go to the safe side. Cancel the order and re-order it again.
You would never want to give out your front & back credit card. Who knows what they would do , right? x] Well, good luck!
You know you want to click it :P HAHA.

Definitely a trust worth website. Never had a problem with them myself. Its the first place I'd think of shopping at for Asian media. Just make sure it is they whom is contacting you.
