has anyone here been or almost been dismissed from their school?

i am on contract this quarter.. and must get above a 2.0 to stay.. problem is theres a 50-50 chance i won't be able to make that 2.0.. well it basically all depends on how my finals go, which are later on this week.. right now id say im getting around all Cs in my 4 classes.. maybe a B and maybe a D or something like that too.. basically, im super worried because i just don't know what to do if i actually get kicked out of school..... anyone have any thoughts?

i've heard of people appealing before and getting back into school, but i don't know the details on that. i am deciding whether i should ask my professors for extra credit stuff this late in the quarter, even though none of them have offered any.

I was on probation last semester and I am on it now again... To come back, I had to write a letter explaining why I did so bad and what I plan on doing to improve my grades. Then they told me I can come back.

Another thing you need to worry about is Financial Aid. They need to put in a waiver for you to get aid from the government. It sucks but.. you can still get some money from the government.

It's really stressful because when I get back a test and didn't do so well on it, the first thing that comes to my mind is getting kicked out of school.. I guess it's good cuz then you'd work harder because you're scared but..it's pretty stressful.

If I do get dismissed, I'll probably attend a community college for a year to bring my grade up and then transfer to a different college.
