Those Pimples.. that are under the skin ><

I use to think that I had a lot of acne scars, because there were areas on my cheeks that were like, dark red, and there were no actual pimples.. but I realized after pressing firmly on my skin in certain areas, I could feel lumps .. O_O , as if there is a pimple under my skin, but not on the surface yet. If I go lightly over my skin, it's all smooth, but when I press harder, I can feel the bumps. They don't hurt either and have no colour. I think they are called nodules? I think they have been there for a long time. I guess all I can do is wait until they form a head? My mom said that they will eventually form a white head and then I can get rid of them, but what if they don't form a head and just stay there? I heard that if you go to a dermatologist, they cut realy deep into your skin to get rid of them? Or inject them with something? LOL wouldn't that hurt like ALOT?
But she won't take me to a dermatologist anyways cause she thinks those 'bumps' are normal. I follow a skin care routine everyday, but yeah, do I just wait for it to form a head or something? Is there anything else I should do?

Go see a dermatologist and have it lanced or get a cortisone shot injection.

I have those every once in awhile at the sides of my face.
It's always around the same area @____@
It just recently disappeared and I'm left with scars :/
The scars go away in time, of course... slowly though.
These don't form "heads". I wait awhile (usually about a week) and then squeeze it. Yes, that creates scars.
Some people think it's bad, but I prefer having it flat and letting the scars go away slowly than having a bump :x
Or.. you can use something that dries out pimples. Those should work if you use it continually.
The last option is to just wait for it to disappear if you don't mind waiting. It takes a long time, but they do go away.
