My dealer is still looking for a car "TC 05- or Civic 06-"
I had few questions..To rename your license plate number..of your choice..
what do you have to do to get them changed? and how much isit?
..and IF I do get a civic coupe 06-..NOT SI.
But I want to get a SI Spoiler wing on it..DO you think if I ask my dealer..
he will do it for me for a xtra charge? or I should buy dem myself
and take it to a autoshop and they will drill new holes for me?
It sounds very costy..
I dont like the Lip spoiler on civic. I think SI spoiler are so much sexy.

thankss

to get a custom license plate, you can do that when you bring your car to the DMV to get ti registered. I believe it costs extra and I think you have to pay them a fee annually to use it.. not sure.

as for the spoiler, yes the dealer will charger extra. You can go on the civic forums and see if any Si owners want to swap trunks with you. A lot of people that have the Si want to get rid of the spoiler. You'll probably have to work something out like trunk swap + money but that would be a lot cheaper and you wouldn't have to worry about drilling holes or having a shop do it for you.

Another option would be to buy the spoiler somewhere and have a shop install it. There are a few DIY's on the civic forums and they don't seem too hard but I don't think I'd ever be able to drill into any part of my car haha.

btw. I'd stick to the civic. tC's don't seem to great. People say it doesn't get that good of MPG and the interior is cheap.. The new civic seats are pretty comfortable and the interior isn't too cheap. Plus I think the civic has better gas mileage.

anywho good luck and post pics when you get the car!

thanksss and yeaaa I did hear about trunk swaping. I just can't find that topic where every SI driver will trade.
I wonder how much it will cost me for a shop to drill new holes and putting spoiler on for me. ohmy.gif
Yea I do..want Civic more..but its' not really my choice..whatever comes with good price/good mileage/options
to my dealer..I think he will auction it.

the person is saying its 41 bucks to get the plate, then you have to pay 30 bucks extra every year to use that custom plate.
