you would have to hardsub the videos with the subtitles first then use videora to convert to ipodvideo format.

putting on subtitles permanently is kind of hard. you have to convert your video a lot... it's just a painful process... so unless you're really crazy about having that clip on your ipod i'd suggest you just stick with subtitle-less videos.

sure in the troubleshoothing section I attempted to make a hardsub guide

Theoretically there should be an easy way to streeamline the process if you could use FFDshow to have it do the subtitling and rendering of the video while feeding the data stream to videora to convert it to video format.

I dont understand... why do people want to watch videos on the go?

videora works perfect for me.
i converted probably over 200+ files and they ALL worked.
most of were mpeg, asf, wmv and avi.
just make sure you use the RIGHT OUTPUT FORMAT when converting.
the time is pretty reasonable, takes about 35 minutes to
convert 700MB+ hour long files.

Maybe this is off topic but does ipod support DivX files. I downloaded the Family Guy Movie on my ipod and converted it successfully to mp4 but for some reason it doesn't register with itunes when I try to add it
