My boyfriend is stressing like crazy in college. His grades are slipping; he is more and more behind in math. He cusses and everything .. (not to me of course) when he gets stuck on a problem or when he gets it wrong. I get really scared because I've never seen him so stressed before. Is there anything that I can do for him? Please help.

Just be supportive. Can you help him in math? It's finals week anyways right now for UC kids. If he doesn't go to a UC school, then I have no idea. You can't really do much for him if he isn't willing to go seek out help on a topic he doesn't understand. A responsible student would have gone to office hours, gone to discussion classes, asked friends for help, or hired a tutor. At least you're concerned for him, but you really can't do too much for him.

Yes, that's what I'm also thinking.

O.o what exactly are you insinuating? J/K

Yeah actually that probably would work, just like in the red-bull commercial. It'd have to be in her comfort zone though.

Jeez you guys are dirty minded... I meant taking him out to a expensive, flirtatious, romantic dinner.

The suggestive answers made me lol.
If you are good at math, offer to help him. If you're not, see if he wants help finding a tutor or something like that. Or maybe you can help him out by taking care of little chores/errands so he can have more time to study?

It's up to him to solve it for himself. You can't help him with everything so don't stress. I'm in the same boat... exams coming up soon for university and i'm jsut sitting here doing nothing so that's my own fault. LOL
