I was in the living room watching the towers fall on the news around 7am- er.. I'm from Canada.
and then I took off to school because I didn't know what was going on and I was going to be late.

So yeah i went home and turned on the tv and it was all over the news and i was wondering what the big deal was, it was only a plane hitting a building was what a thought, big deal.

Honestly I don't remember...but my time zone is 3 hours behind New York, so it was like 6 AM for me. Which means I was probably sleeping. I was in 2nd grade...

i was getting ready for school, and watching TV at the same time.
i rmbed every 30 mins there's this short broadcast on what happened.
my mother called and asked me what i was doing.
instead of saying i was getting ready for school, i told her i saw planes crashing onto the towers and there were fire on news.
she's working and she didnt noe what happened yet.
im 11 that year.

6th grade, homeroom in N. Virginia elementary school. For some reason my teacher turned on the TV so we could see what was happening for 20 minutes, then turned off the TV. I barely understood what was going on, but I remember kids leaving school every other 10 minutes because the parents feared for their safety, which is somewhat understandable because we were like 10 minutes from Washington D.C. No one in the other rooms really knew what was happening either. I was a bit confused but I sort of knew something bad happened since school didn't go on regularly. Kids were wondering around a lot in the rooms but told to stay in. At home I found out more about it. My parents told me as much as they knew what had happened. I just accepted that we'd been hit by something bad. A few days later I'd take in a deeper impact.

It was a cloudy day. I think it might've rained a bit before.
