whenever you're with him, make sure to scoot close (ahah) and see what he does (either stay in the same spot, scoot closer, or distance himself)
if he doesn't seem to mind, maybe you can rest your head on his shoulder or some kind of physical contact (make sure the atmosphere is right though)

Screw hints. 99.9% of the time the guys don't get the hints. Besides, it works better if you tell the guys straight up what you want instead of hinting it.

So, for me, I don't beat around the bushes; once I'm sure I like someone, I tell him face to face and asks if he likes me back too.
