yeah baby i love this stuff

nothing beats natto and furikake over rice

i'm guessing a lot of you wouldn't know about it but it's basically fermented soybeans. there's no other taste like it out there. it has the consistency of snot and smells bad. sounds gross? yeah i agree. my best friend who's the least pickiest eater i know, hates the stuff ahha but DAM i'm salivating just thinking about it

who else is a diehard natto fan?

I think it tastes disgusting. My mom eats it but I tried it once and NEVER AGAIN.
Umeboshi on the other hand.. I love. smile.gif

Oh and.. I don't think fermented soybeans sound gross.. it just tastes gross. Haha. Fermented soybean paste is good though.

Lol I'm Japanese, so natto has been something that's always in my fridge. I don't love it, but I do crave it from time to time. If it's on the table, I'll eat it.

I don't wanna sound rude towards natto fans, but I CANNOT stand the taste of it ><
I heard it was really good from a few Japanese people and tried it, but it was a crazy experience.
I guess it's like the same for Koreans and ChungookJang (weird smelling, yet delicious soup). Hahaha.

Everyone has their own taste (:

I never tried it, never will either.
I smelled it from a distance and wanted to puke. Seriously.

I like it but I don't love it. It's definitely a strong taste. I think it's like wasabi, you have to get used to it.
