there were people who just would not stop staring at you?!

this happened to me and one of my friends yesterday.
we went to eat at this Chinese restaurant she had been telling me about.
so we got in there and sat down at the table next to this Caucasian family of 6. (<-- grandparents, parents, 2 little girls)
The 2 little girls look like they can't be over the ages of 5.
So me and my friend are looking at the menu and we just feel 2 pairs of eyes piercing on us...
I did a slight head turn and they were like really staring at us.... to the point where it was uncomfortable.
this wasnt like a "head-turned-to-the-side-stare" It was a full-body-turned-in-their-seats-to-face-us-stare
And they did this THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE THERE!! (we were there for 45 mins to an hour)
It was like they had never seen Black people before

I tried to stare back at them, but every time i looked towards them, I started cracking up laughing
It was bad to the point to where they didnt take their eyes off of us when talking to their mom
and while eating their food.

it was so uncomfortable... but funny at the same time

I remember I went to a Chinese restaurant and all the workers were staring at me. I was like WTF and eventually one of them walked up to me asked me if I was Chinese. After I told them I was Korean, they left me alone lol.

well theres this girl in my bus, who's like in the 5th grade I guess?
She sits ahead of me and it's so CREEPY.
Everytime she comes she turns around COMPLETELY and stares at me.
It's extremely disturbing, especially since it happens almost everyday.

This has happened with me and my friends
as I hang out with alot of white people me being black
we walked in a all white wealthy store and ppl were staring and I
was like "You never seen a couple of black ppl with white friends in a wealthy store FREAK!"
I was laughing because most of the ppl were older and it was a bunch of us teens.

I had no clue why they were staring.
I don't think I look that different compared to the natives.

when i go to malaysia everyone stares at my family like we're mutants that will steal from the shops.
i just wanna yell at them and go "take a picture it lasts longer" but i dont think they'd get it.

It's definitely happened to me !! Haha,
it makes me think I have crap on my face or something -
like, why do they have to continue to stare? what, never seen an asian girl before? jeez.
I remember I was sitting in the car with my cousin,
waiting for my aunt to come back from some store, ( we didn't want to go in )
so as we sat there, this girl walking by, looks into our car window and then stares,
she then continued to stare as she walked.
my cousin and I stared back and just gave her a dirty look, hahaa.

but then again, I think I might be one of those people,
that stare at a person for a really, really long time..

I just get the occasional stare. But not sitting at a restaurant and having an entire family stare at me the whole time I'm there. If I were you, I'd be like "You got a staring problem?? Eat your food and stop staring at people like they're aliens..." Lol. Ok, maybe not that mean but you know... I would just tell them to stop staring at me... How annoying.

i went to this chinese restaurant a while ago and my family were almost the only costumers there, so we were talking about whatever and i hear the worker people ease dropping, talking to each other in chinese about it.. talk about rude. they were right behind us too :|

another one was wen i was at the mall with my family, my parents were taking a break on the couches, and wen me and my sister met up with them, this middle-aged father guy was staring at me smiling the whole time.. even when i was leaving...

OMGGGG and theres another time.. i was at kumon (oldest kid there *rolls eyes*) and this kid (maybe 12?) kept staring at me for the longest time, so i was like you know what... and i stared at him back, but what ended up happening was we had a freaking staring contest and i eventually lost -_______-;;;;

I remember when I went overseas last year, me and my family were at this beach and because I didn't really understand the dialect there since it's different to the main language .. there was this girl on the beach, I think she was about my age or older? she was talking to my cousin and when I went to sit next to my cousin the girl wouldn't stop staring at me with this WTF/stuck up look on her face and it was really bothering me cos she was sitting almost 1 metre away from me and I could feel her staring.

I wanted to throw sand in her face and be like, "WTF ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!" and run away.

This happens to me a lot. The first time I see it I'm just like, wtv *ignores.* I just happen to look back a few seconds later and they're STILL staring. At that point, I'm just like . wtf are you staring at.

AGH. This happened to me yesterday... xDD


I went to my friend's church for volunteer work and I didn't really know anyone/know what to do, so I was following her around everywhere. (I was kinda supposed to xD) And I had no idea what was going on, but she was looking for someone, so she opened the door to a room where people were listening to the Reverend talk. I kinda stood outside, but she signaled for me to go in with her. And when I did, I was like "HOLY FRIJOLES" cus there was a roomful of Koreans around our age (this was a Korean church btw lol). And they all just stared at me. Because I was not a familiar face around the church... xDD

OMG, it was so weird o___o;; I started to get nervous and kept asking my friend what I should do. Luckily we only stayed in there for a few seconds, but they were all staring at me the whole time!! xD GAAAH. The Reverend even had to stop talking because no one was listening... I felt so bad T__T

yea this one time at my tutor center
this lady kept staring at me and it was so awkward cuz we were directly facing each other and i kept looking away cuz i didnt wanna look like i was staring at her haha

i hate it when people around my age stare at me. idk why it makes me extremely self conscious.

well these weren't people around my age.. these were people about 20 years younger than me lol.
i should've done that "Dramatic Prarie Dog Face"
that would've been entertaining.. at least for me and my friend lol

But yeah... now I know what animals feel like at the zoo..
but at least people are smiling and taking pictures when they see them


well honestly, that wasn't the first time this happened to me...
It first happened back in 2004-2005...
And it was old White People staring at us... we were in KKK town (literally)
And I was the darkest person in there.. (me, my ex and his little brother)
I noticed all the other blacks and hispanics and asians didn't come inside to order their food...
they did it from the walk up window.
I should've done the same thing... I dont know how I let that boy talk me into going in there.
But I was so scared. It had gotten so quiet, you could hear a pin drop T^T
