This is a song I wrote about the drug wars going all through out various cities of Mexico (not just ciudad de mexico) but also in Tijuana and Ciudad de Juarez and even some border line states in the US. Let us pray for Mexico and please in your own way try and bring down the drug demand here on the state side. If you need help get help. Lives are at stake. Comment and let me know what you think about the issues going on or some solutions you may have. God bless all of you and most of all may God bless and restore Mexico. I believe this is a way music can change the world

there would be no drug-dealing if people didn't consume drugs. simple as that. it hurts me so much when i see a young guy or girl smoking pot or whatever and they're like 'it's no big deal, it's just pot' but they don't realize that so many people are dying because of that pot and so many families live in fear because their cities are no longer safe. i think mexico city is not one of the most affected by the drug war tbh.
anyway, nice work. the only thing i didn't like was all the blaming on the governement. not everyone in the governement are corrupt, some are actually risking their lives and their families lives to fight the crime, but it's so easy just to blame it on them, isn't it?

Hey thank for your honesty. I have a couple of things to say. First of all I apologize if I appeared to be tainting the hard working politicians of Mexico while trying to expose the few who are abusing their seats. I wasn't trying to blame the government I just was exposing how deeply entrenched the drug epidemic has become entrenched in every day life, government, etc. I wrote this song with the president felipe calderon in mind who is taking tremendous courage in the midst of unspeakable adversity to rid his country of this epidemic even though some of his own citizens would want him to stop. While it may not be the country with the greatest effect (I don't know who else would be) our desire for drugs directly affects Mexico. WE are the number one customer for the drug dealers. We provide 90% of the ammunition that drug lords use to overpower and kill. But I wasn't using this so much to blame as much as I say in the bridge "march on soldiers justice soldiers" Who started it isn't really going to change anything. Right now we need to pray and do what we can to get involved to resolve and clean up what is partially our mess. I agree with you, people truly don't understand the COST of drugs GLOBALLY! This is why as a musician my part is not to glorify drugs in my music. The only time I do is when I talk about all of the terrible low's that silently accompany the high. Thanks so much for the feedback

The new mic sounds nice after you mastered the song. I heard about the rampant drug war in Mexico on talk radio a few months ago. It is a topic that has conjured less recognition compared to the crippled global economy.
Nice to know that we both returned to Soompi, acchord.
