Why does your friend answer for you? lol she sounds like my cousin, when I'm asking someone else another question but if she's right there and knows the answer...she answers first!

I'm not sure if I am 100% Filipino because my grandpa has some chinese blood on him and my grandma has some spanish blood on her but what the hell most of me is Filipino anyway.

Amen lol.
I've been saying the same thing since I was in middle school... which was like 11+years ago... But it's true. Everyone is going to be mixed. Technically everyone already is though. But it'll be some obvious mixing later.. no one will be able to classify themselves with one particular race anymore. Oh well lol

Anywayy.. To me, it doesn't matter. I have a mixed background, but I just say I'm one thing. It's funny though, when people think I'm half-such and such because of the way I look. Apparently, I look exotic :B
But eh, yeah, whatevers. It doesn't matter to me. We're all the same inside. Red. Haha.

reminds me of a gospel verse lol...
"It doesn't matter what color you are.. as long as your blood was red."

I'm not too sure if I agree lol. I think it's the same percentage as any other group
of people lol.
2. Personally I don't really like being half. I'd rather be full white or full korean.
They always say "If you're half, you get to experience two cultures!"
...What other culture do I experience from a full korean person.
I personally don't know any korean-americans who don't ever get to eat american food,
or or don't know how to speak english and don't know any american holidays. I don't get what
part of american culture they're missing.
Also, I hate when people come up to me and ask what I am. It's rude, and unnecessary.
Do you really need to know that i'm half korean and half white? Is it necessary for our relationship?
I think i'm fairly well mixed, korean people tend to think i'm white, and white/black/hispanic people tend
to think i'm chinese. It's a pain in the but alternately going between being the token asian kid, and the token
white kid. I hate getting stares when I go to a place with alot of asians, like "what is that random white guy doing here",
I've actually taken to wearing sunglasses when I go to the korean food store, or k-town because I can pass for a full asian
with them, and I don't have to deal with the looks and questions that come along with being mixed. Additonally i'm tired of asian people
just assuming i'm full white. Sometimes wI ant to wear a giant sign that says "i'm korean too!!!" and be able to go to a korean church,
or gathering and not have people wonder why i'm there, and be awkward around me because i'm white.
Finally, I lived in Korea till I was around five or 6, and I hung around koreans my entire life, so i'm pretty culturally korean.
Yet people assume because i'm mixed I don't know anything about korea, don't speak korean(haha my korean is pretty bad, but
thats because my mom did english immersion for me and my brother and her when we left korea because none of us spoke much english
then, so I had to relearn later, it has nothing to do with being half), and can't eat korean food. It's annoying how suprised people get
when I know the simplest korean word, bit of history, or a popular singer. I can't know these things because i'm half?
I didn't say much about being discriminated against for my asian side becasue well... aside from the occasional
ching chong joke, it's never really been an issue when I was hanging out with white/black/hispanic people.
Yea... so im my opinion, being mixed is just one more stress that I don't need.

I am half Japanese, half Canadian although I wished I was pure Japanese
how much it matters? not much really. I only understand 75% of Japanese. I can't read Japanese writing... This is why Japanese dramas helped me alot in learning my mother's language but I am not fond of Japanese dramas much =.= so I still fail.

Then you only leave space to discriminate
And to discriminate only generates hate
And if you hatin you're bound to get irate
Yeah madness is what you demonstrate
And that's exactly how anger works and operates
You gotta have love just to set it straight
Take control of your mind and meditate
Let your soul gravitate to the love y'all
