So I am doing really bad in math right now, I got a 17 on my last test, but pretty much everyone else failed with me, and my prof. had to give a speech about it. Anyway, I was talking to her after class about it and she was acussing me of not doing my work and then I told her how I am going to get tested for discalcli and how I am not good at taking test. I told her I did horrible on my Japanese test yet I am highly proficient in it, and she smirks and said "that depends on what you call proficient, there are people who speak spanish at home Nativity and failes tests".

The truth is it's a self study course and when she does "teach" she teaches the class like it's and excelled honors course, and it's just a basic course! I checked rate my prof.com and she got a 1.5 and every one except like 3 people failed her class, even people who were ahead of college algebra (those who did bad on the placement test) ! She does not meet the students needs and gives back handed comments.

Now the testing for learning disability center closes at like 12pm so I can only get tested on April 1st as thats the only time they have that I'm free. Well the test if from the 24th-28th and I have like no time to prepare as I have been trying to keep up with my other classes which have been filled with annoying time consuming homework like make a language chart (that the teacher didn't even check) or a annoying group project that is not being done in class, or a 13page (back and front) economics test. Not to mention she wants us to do 3hours of math work a day. So I sent her an e-mail to ask for and extension as I cannot get tested till after the second test (our grade is based on 3 tests). She sent me a reply oh how I should have been tested by now and how it would be unfair to the other students that I would only get an extension. And I was thinking that would it be fair for me to take a test if I had discaculi but could not be tested till after the test? And I am certain I have it as I constantly mix numbers up and flip them over, and I cannot repeat numbers, even as simple as phone numbers without messing them up. But I am not surprised about not getting the extension as someone on rate my prof. had some really bad family issues and could not get an extension. I have taken other math classes and have gotten B's so I don't think I am the problem. It is just so frustrating because now I have to take this test, and I am already garnetted to fail..and if I loose my scholarship (I have a 3.5 right now) I am not gonna be happy.
