but what kind of dreams/nightmares do you have?
& any idea what they might mean?

i always have a dream with this guy in it
& he's always hurting, getting mad at, or leaving me
its weird..

I had the worst nightmare yesterday, and I wasn't even in it.
It was some serial killer mutilating bodies and leaving it in a dark room with the body parts lying in different places.
I think I watch too much horror films

And sometimes when I have a bad day I kick things in my sleep and throw my stuffed animals all over my room and end up waking myself up.

I have good and bad dreams, but the ones that have the biggest impact on me, I usually record them haha. As silly as that sounds...

But the ones that HAVE had the biggest impact on me and have stuck with me are the nightmares, unfortunately. In all the cases, I have been physically hurt and the strange thing is that I feel it when I wake up haha. It sounds ridiculous, but it's true.

During the summer, I fell asleep this one hot day and I dreamt that I was a part of the CIA or something and went undercover as a soldier. I was then captured by an enemy organization led by George W. Bush and thrown in a group of other captured soldiers outside. Then, they proceeded to shoot at us until every one of us was dead. They shot at my back numerous times and I guess I was wired to my partner and he told me to try to escape. When I attempted to do so, they shot me in the head and that's when I woke up. But when I woke up, my back was on fire!

And then there was one where I was in a dark room with one light and I was looking around for something or someone and suddenly, someone stabbed me from the back on my left side and I woke up feeling it in the same spot.

And I've had some where I was drowning in my own room... which was weird lol. And ones where I've fallen off a building multiple times.

But I think it's just my insecurities and trust issues. I've tried to figure out what they mean through specific symbols, but in the end, I've realized that dreams are just dreams... I hope.

about 2 weeks ago i dreamt about DEAD BODIES in school toilets, with no heads..My friend was CLEANING IT. Gosh.
That's the scariest ive ever had..

But last night, my dream was about my crush at school confessed at me on my bday. That was happy.. hh

I had a dream during my afternoon nap yesterday that my friend was a magician, and I asked her to make my favorite singer appear. Then, he appeared and I hugged him, then eventually made him sit on my lap (he was like a doll).

my nightmare was super wierd..
it was a few nights ago so i dont remember it that well but it was basically about some book
it had 4 chapters i think and each chapter was only 3 pages long.
the first page was like some horror story and the second page had a bunch of random words that you have to read out loud
and then the third page was how you died.. and then right after you finished the third page some long haired girl would appear and kill you
the first time the girl didnt kill me, so i read the second chapter and then she was about to kill me but befotre she could i woke up..

I always have dreams of falling from sky high and then getting butterflies. Or I always have bad dreams of getting chased by something that I would be scared mini cooperlessabout like teletubbies and barney, etc.

i usually get those dream interpretation books..
but they're so broad, it's hard to interpret. >_<

I think dreams/nightmares are just our imagination running wild, but more complex. We only remember them if we wake up during one I think, that's why dreams can never get to the good part :\ But last night I dreamt about being forced to learn Arabic, I'm not Arabic, and I don't even think my school offers that language haha.

i recently had a dream that was really complex (i only get those occasionally), but long story short it was like someone was trying to kill me.. - -x like i was on a rollercoaster and it stopped at the way top and i kinda fell off into an ocean.. and then at the ocean these enemies were like drying to bomb me. i remember that there was like water shooting up everywhere because of it... and then when i got out of the ocean and onto a cliff-ish sorta place this one person who was really close to killing me or something (the thing is no one has guns or knives.. just like bombs? O_o) had an slr camera and i got a hold of it and smashed it to pieces by flinging it around and stuff. --; and then i woke up.. yeah that's only a vague description of my dream

i always have dreams..and they range.. lol
i remember most of them.. because they're so wild o_O;;

from doraemon to ditto from pokemon to my friend from fifth grade to britney spears to louis koo to speaking to super junior to ppl i never talk to to some random man saying 'you thought i was your dad? i'm not' *gun shot (then gets woken up by alarm lol) to my mom owning a swimming place to godzilla crushing my elementary school.. omg lol they are endless! but i love it =) except for the nightmare ones..which most of the time i know i'm sleeping so i open my eyes? lol wth do they meeeeeeeeeeeean!?

and sometimes when i say, i want to dream about * * tonight, i do dream about that person! haha~

i don't have nightmares that often.

the scariest ones i've had involve sleep paralysis, when i feel someone or something grab me and not let go. i have to kick the bedsheets and stuff in order to wake up @-@. once awake, i'm usually gasping for breath.

but, i've never woken up screaming or crying from any nightmares... except, i remember i cried when i dreamed my mom left me and when i dreamed that i was 2 hours late to school.

ah. i had another nightmare recently
so i have this fear of my boyfriend never loving me as much as his ex
and the other day i was taking a nap in chem class after my test
and my boyfriend and i were cuddling together and then all of a sudden, my boyfriend got up adn left me for his ex.
i was apprently actuallly whimpering out loud b/c my friend woke me up freaked out that i was crying. LOL

mann.. i get the weirdest dreams sometimes. Just a few days ago:

Me & a bunch of friends were in a room just talkng&laughing as usual. Suddenly a woman from a kids t.v show (i saw a few weeks ago) comes running in screaming her head off. I remember her hair was REALLY messy. She started chasing everyone stabbing them with a fork and for some reason there was a blur of blood splattering everywhere. Then me & Jessica (friend) both run in to the kitchen & lock the door. I don't know why there was a window on the kitchen door but we could see her smashing her face against the window and waving her fork around like crazy. There was also a lot of blood smothered on the window.

& then I remember we were both crouching down next the counter. We were both scared & ready to cry. Then i specifically remembered i told Jessica "If we hold our breath for a long time, we'll faint & then we won't have to feel her killing us."

lol that was some weird ass dream.

A few days ago I had this nightmare that still gives me goosebumps when I think about it...

I logged on to this online portal for students in our school where you can see your grades... In my dream I logged on to check them all and I found out
that for 4 subjects I had an E as mark and 1 as D....

Go figure, I won't be graduating with those marks.

My marks aren't that bad, but I'm afraid that that freaken nightmare will become reality... john tesh.

This morning, I had a dream (nightmare? bad dream) that Daniel Henney (totally random, because I'm not his biggest fan), called me and told me that there were going to be tons of shooting stars tonight. He asked me to meet him at a park-- on the seesaw. I was so excited, I was getting ready when all of a sudden, the internet/phone lines went down all over the world (to prepare for the shooting stars). That's when I realized that I was still in America while he was waiting for me at the seesaws in a park in Korea. There was no way I could reach him to tell him that I was half way across the globe, and at the wrong time zone.

The end.

It means I'll never meet Daniel Henney because we'll be in opposite posts of each other. But surprisingly, I'm okay with that. Just as long as that doesn't happen to me with Dennis Oh or Kim Jaejoong :X LOL.

If I may be strict with the terms, there's a difference between a "bad dream" and a "nightmare".

A nightmare is a dream where the sleeper experiences extreme horror/fear, pain (like being tortured) or any other death-like feeling, not that I know what death feels like but I hope you catch my drift. The sleeper will often experience sleep paralysis, screaming in sleep, waking up midway, sweating, immense stress, etc.

A bad dream is pretty much self explanatory and is less serious than a nightmare, and is what most of you guys above mentioned.

As for me, I've only had two bad dreams that I could remember, which happened 11 years ago. I dreamt that I woke up to go to the bathroom and found the shower being set on. I opened the shower doors to find a baby showering. It just looked at me, stepped out and took his limbs (including head) apart to dry off, put them back on and left the bathroom. I didn't really feel scared inside the dream and just washed my hands and walked out again lol.

The second was that me and my brother had a nanny while our parents were on a trip. I found out that at night when it was sleep time, my nanny turned into hundreds of feets and hands preserved in glass jars that filled the room.

Ever since I moved from the old apartment I didn't really have a bad dream anymore.. I had a nightmare probably a few years ago, but I don't remember it anymore.

My dreams are literally like stories out of novels, movies or whatever.
It's very complex, there are so many characters, problems, solutions, settings and all that.
They're very detailed as well (like the faces, names, personalities, settings and such).
Sometimes I'm part of the plot and sometimes I'm not.
One for example, was about an apocalypse of zombies.
My friends and I were at a Halloween party when the virus was spread amongst the people and we hid in this room that was barricaded with this thick plastic barrier. We found weapons in the rooms like saws and all that. The zombies wouldn't leave the house because they smelt us and were looking for us so we had no choice but to run out of the house because it was too risky for us to stay there. I was the leader between my friends because they were all scared and crying so we ran out of the house which was by this calm river/lake. The zombies chased us as we all like hacked off their limbs and then we began running away by these plazas of supermarkets and stuff. My mom woke me up at that point so I wasn't able to finish the dream lol.
