Late Admittance To Ucs help?

hi. so i got into UC San Diego under "Winter Quarter" rather than "Fall Quarter." i'm afraid it will put me at a disadvantage. for those who were/are in the same situation, what do you guys think? are there advantages? disadvantages? your input and shared experiences would definitely help in mi decision. thanks!

my friend was in the same position as you
last year. he just went to community college since you are only doing GE
so he went to a community college in SD and then went in as a winter quarter (:

I think you'll be at more of advantage than not. If you go to a community college, you're likely to get more credits than a fall quarter UCSD freshman, by the time winter rolls around. Plus, if there are any particular GE subjects you feel uneasy about, you can take them at a CC because generally it'll be easier.
