Don't justify why. A few really good responses have been noted and you can use any of them. Just say it isn't working out and you don't see any future together. But make sure you breakup! Being in a relationship because you don't want to make them

actually, to the nice guys i heard that those phony excuses like 'its not you, its me' stuff is what hurts them even more. just tell the plain out how you feel and voice yourself without trying to make yourself sound too over exagerrated.
