im used to it now though cos friends are always like that.. teasing and stuff. i just shrug it off or go ASIF! and then they back off.

Yes. People just like to know these types of things and gossip, so they just automatically assume a girl + guy = boyfriend/girlfriend, haha, especially since my best friends and I hang out with mostly guys. I also hate it when you say someone is attractive and people just think you're into them, even if it's a girl. (-_-

People kept asking if we were going out, so that's why the guy friend I hang out with the most and I say we're cousins. That gets people to stop jumping to conclusions. :P

Aa yes.. i hate it >_< I wouldnt mind if we were actually dating, but we're not, and yet everyone in our whole college seems to think we are >_< And he doesn't help things by joking around that we are in front of people when they ask haha. Mm, from my experience, the only ones that suggest such a thing as not being able to be friends with the opposite gender are the ones that are insecure and unsure about themselves around the opposite gender. Don't let it bother you, don't let yourself have any doubts if somebody suggests it. And if the other person gets wind of it, assure them that it isn't true. A lot of my friendships have been ruined due to people just assuming and talking, it's ridiculous. Especially if you treat the person you like as THE PERSON YOU LIKE and not as a friend.

Holy gosh i completely agree... For some reason i can connect with guys just as well as with girls so i'm just as close to my guy friends as I am to my female friends... so when i click right away with a guy the rumours fly like mad!!!
Recently I made a good guy friend and OUT OF NO WHERE people think we're dating. Like they didn't even ask they're just like "you and soandso are going out tonight?" "you guys have been going out for a month now, eh?"
WHERE THE FLIPPING CHEESEBURGERS DID THAT COME FROM?!?! Seriously....

And then there's this other guy friend that I have really good conversations with... and EVERYONE in that group is trying to set us up!!! ARRRGHH.

So basically there's rumours that I'm dating two guys... Totally ruining my reputation! I've never had a boyfriend! Ahhh I'm so angry!

I am close friends with this who has a BF in Asia... we are in Canada.
People mistaken us and say that I like her and that I am dating her... I say no to these questions...
I wish I could but she has a BF but that makes me sad...
But I AM REALLY happy I get to hang out with her almost everyday after school T_T

There was this one time where this douche bag came up to her and said do you like (my name)?
She tells me about that and says "I say no way!" I feel a stone drop in my heart...
BUT I REFUSE TO GIVE UP. NOT UNTIL THE BITTER END. I'm not making any moves because she is not in a relationship, and am sad because of that, but being able to hang out a lot; I am really happy!
