Like the title says. My boyfriend whom I've been dating since 08 just dropped the L word. I like him a lot and our relationship though uncoventional at times (meaning in public we don't act like couple but in private we do) I still like him. He's a lot better than my ex and I think that has me scared.

Tell him that you like him a lot, yet you feel it's too early for love. I'm sure he'll understand.

If you don't love him then don't pressure yourself to say it. It doesn't make you a bad girlfriend sometimes people develop feelings faster then others. Is that what your wondering about?

k this is embarrassing, but it took me more than quick second to figure out what you meant. i actually thought of loser first loll i was like HE CALLED YOU A LOSER?

Well...that's a good thing if he loves you already...
but if you're not sure then don't say it back
cuz if you end up realizing you don't love him...it'll only hurt him to know that you lied.
But i'm sure you're feelings just aren't as strong as his yet.
Love takes time you know...
but then again some feelings change after a LONG LONG while...which it hasn't been for you yet.
so just take it easy & slow...no need to rush. wink.gif

yeah. don't say "thank you," but just let him know that you don't think you're ready to say it back.. YET. make sure you add the "yet" part unless you really don't think the relationship's going anywhere. smile.gif make sure you let him know that you really do like him, though.

Honestly you should just be truthful with him.
Tell him your feelings and it hasn't approached love but you like him a lot and so forth.
