really! hopefully it's the "not too long ago" of a couple months cuz tried pullups again today... still stuck at 3 before i gotta use the chair. know if it's good to use a chair to help do pullups or not? like my max is... 3, but i go for 7 with a chair's help. should i just do the 3?
for today, legs and back (lunges and pullups) for 50 minutes, then abs for 15 minutes.

I suggest buying a pullup bar for home - everytime you walk through your doorway do as many as you can - throughout the day. Morning, bathroom, every meal before, after, before bed. Just at the end of each day tally up your pullups and try to do 1 more the next day.

Go for something like this ~ keep in mind that I didnt go and find the best deal or check for copy-cat companies. This one is probably a copy-cat company as well. That way you can do different types of pullups which will help you stimulate more muscle fibers.
* if you are talking about assisted pullups those are for helping you stimulate the muscles - which can help but you have ot make sure you are intaking enough protein to supply building blocks for repair.
Just think of your success as this ~ if the body is given enough reason to change - it will change.
The body is extremely capable of adapting.
Provided you give enough material (protein) the body will decide how best to rebuild and renew.
Sleep is mandatory as that is the true recovery period for the mind and body.

i already have a doorway pullup bar, but i only hang it up/use it whenever p90x calls for it... which is twice a week.
but everyday? don't your muscles need to recover and recuperate before there can be gains? if i did pullups constantly everyday throughout the day, isn't that the same as overtraining?
for protein, i eat my normal diet + 1 cup of milk and 1 spoonful of whey protein powder after working out. is that enough protein?
and for sleep... i've been recently only getting 6-7 hours a day, needless to ask if this would effect my results, but does it nullify them?
edit:
finally did exercise for today, 50 minutes of medium cardio
thinking of adding 30 min. - 60 min. of cardio a day in addition to p90x, just go running afterwards. but the problem is i live in LA, and i work out at 2 am and end at 3....

it's been around 90-110 degrees out here, and it's 10 degrees hotter on the courts due to the absorbing/reflecting of the heat :p i've been sweating a lot a lot lately, hopefully it'll cool down next week or else i'm going to diee haha
