Something Interesting, I heard from my bf. He has Asian grandparents, and they told him something, that I thought normal Asian parents or grandparents wouldn't say.
"WTF is wrong with you! You two are couples sleep together!" (something like that)

Here is the story:

I am staying over my boyfriend for the first time. I will be there a little more than a week, and I will be staying at his house. A few days ago, his grandparents came to help him clean his room. They asked him when I would be visiting, and asked where I would be staying. He reply back with " in my room." And then his grandpa asked " how about you?" and He reply back with " in the living room." His grandpa told him, that he and I are a couple, and should be staying in the same room. and also said " wtf is wrong with you."

Which he kind of freaked out about, because his grandparents complain when his other brother and younger sister sleeps together with their bf/gf. And here is the thing to keep note of

1. I haven't met his grandparents or parent
2. This is my first visit
3. They are the traditional Asian family

So what do you guys think? What's your view on this? Is this normal? Have you guys experience something like this? Just any random comment!

Wow...that's awesome. I would say 99% of parents would not even let their childrens bf/gf stay over. I had to sneak mine over LOL

I am sure the grandparents realize that they are sleeping together, so why not do it openly with their conscent. Welcome to the 21st century, most parents turn a blind eye thinking their children is not sleeping together at least they acknowledge the possibility. Well done grandparents/parents you should be commended, other parents should be this open ans understanding.

I stay over at my boyfriend's house practically every weekend and his parents are cool with it (they're Chinese and I sleep in his room). His mom is really nice and treats me like her own daughter which is really unlike traditional Asian parents. We even went on a trip once and she paid for everything. However, I feel bad for being such a mooch so I help do the dishes or clean the house occasionally.

i feel like it's a test ._______.
i might be wrong ... but ....

i know asian parents (not grandparents) that say that but they don't mean it.
I would be careful about it ...
and if it seems like his grandparents really DO want you to sleep in the same room ... then go ahead.
Just don't let your guard down too easily.
I am loved ♥
