so just got my bottom wisdom teeth pulled out. And was wondering if anyone know of any super quick healing method that could heal it by monday next week? reason is because i go back to school next monday and have to do a speech. AND, the top took like 2 days after to heal but not fully... so kinda nervous how long it'll take for the bottom to heal. might i add my bottom gum is like ripped to shreds and the blood clot is black
suggestions??

Well ask your teacher for an extension on the speech. I'm sure it's reasonable since you did get a major operation done.
Also, if your orthodontist was good (like mine), you should have little swelling. After one day, I was back on my feet and no one knew I had 4 wisdom teeth taken out.

To help you speed up the healing, if you are presently applying cold or heat to the outside of your face please stop. The temperature change on the outside of the face draws fluids, common after surgery, outward from the mouth into the muscles that help open and close your mouth. This increased fluid will make the muscles stiffer and more tender. If you are not already doing this, start a regimen of warm salt water (a teaspoon of salt in glass of warm water) rinses for 5-10 minutes 4-5 times per day. The warmth applied into your mouth will pull excess fluids and blood that may have congregated into your muscles and facial soft tissue into your mouth and it will gradually reduce the internal swelling and muscle stiffness. Within a few days (another 4-5 and after sutures are removed), you can place your forefinger of one hand on the bottom front teeth and the thumb of the same hand on the upper front teeth. Gradually push down with the forefinger on the lower front teeth to a point of soreness and stop there, but don't release. Hold that for 30 seconds if you can. Do this 3 times a day if possible. The stiffness should gradually resolve and your normal function should resume.

so two days after my mouth is finally swollen... so just wondering how long will the swelling take? and yeah i've already been using the salt water method, but not as much as you mentioned.
oh and how do i get the blood clot out, once fully healed? cause theres like a small ball of blood clot where my bottom left tooth was.. the right side i'm okay with since its not like a small ball..

For me, swelling took about a week and a half. When I went back to school (5 days after the surgery) my cheeks had a yellow tint and my bottom part of the face was poofed up. Maybe you should wait naturally for the blood clot ball to come out of your mouth.

I don't think you should attempt to take the blood clot out...
You should be fine by next Monday. You might be still slightly swollen, but you should be able to talk fine.

maybe I'm late
never remove the blood clots. it's formed to help the healing process, so the blood cells able to help heal the ripped gum and spongy bone.
don't spit often,
don't suck the wounded area (u tend to suck the blood, don't do that)
soft diets, don't eat any hard to chew food, hot liquid, etc, don't smoke
always keep the mouth clean. brushing teeth is a must. if its too harsh, use gauze to gently brush ur teeth and gums to prevent any infections, warm salt water also keep the mouth clean.
applying heat extra oral.
this surgery normally only make incisions on ur gums and jaw bones. if ur muscles become stiff and u even can't open ur mouth ~trismus~ (not because the swell *that's normal*, but after healing it's still stiff, about 2 weeks) it's indiciated a muscle inflammation (caused by infection or trauma). should go to dentist asap.

when I had my first wisdom tooth remove (just 1, thought I'd be less painful that way), my face was swollen for more than 2 weeks. I think it was just me, though, cuz everyone I know was surprised at how long it lasted

well the swelling is about 95% gone. and the wound looks healed but I'm still feeling pain. mostly around the joint of my jaw and my teeth. enough pain to make my face cringe and because of it i can't talk that normally, it sounds like i have a lisps... should i go back to the dentist? its been about a week now and the top started to hurt like the bottom when it didn't before >.<
