Like dolcedor. said, it's more common if you do hair removal in that area.

If the doctor diagnose it as a sebaceous cysts, he/she will either tell you it will disappear on it's own or prescribe you an antibiotic. Most important thing is to not touch it or try to remove whatever may be in there because it can cause an infection.

i've had some personal experience with that;;
O_O does it seem like a pimple?
does puss come out?
do u usually shave down there?
If u answered those as all yes most likely u have a Ingrown Hair
it looks and feels like a boil and can be mistaken as a cyst.
but its fine all u have to do it remove the hair that grew under it..
ive heard some suggestions like sitting in hot water for awhile then the hair will come out then u have to pull it out;;
if not go to the dermatologist................;; i had too T___T;

There are many things that it oculd be, and depending on its apperance and your history can always narrow it down. Obviously, I won't be asking for an image and won't be making any diagonsis whatsoever.
But, be prepared to answer the following questions:
are you sexually active?
do you practice safe sex?
upon looking at the lesion is the base ulcerated? pain? duration?
on palpation, is it nodular cyst filled etc.
Best thing would be to see a physician if it concerns you and is not "normal"

Oh ok. Nowadays you never know, and any female(of reasonable age) that walks into the clinic/hospital a sexual history is usually done. Well that eliminates a lot of things. Inguinal nodes tender or anything?
It seems like nothing wait a week or so and see if it clears up. If you note any changes or anything then see a physician.
