Cut down on meals..at least half of what i used to eat
more variety..more veggies and fruits..less on sugar and fat

Hmm...the diet sounds good.
For the next few months, your baby will be very demanding, change its diapers, giving it milk, lack of sleep because the baby can't stop crying at night. That's what I heard from my sister who just had hers last November >_<
So, after all that, isn't it already too exhausted to run 2 miles? sweatingbullets.gif

dont cut your breast feeding time short. let it run its natural course. breast feeding is your body's way of naturally returning to its previous state. inferring with that will keep the weight on.

my boss just had a baby and shes had a hard time loosing weight b/c she only breast fed 2months this time. when she spoke to her doctor they told her that breast feeding is actually beneficial to the womanand the baby.

I guess it's good that you want to do all these exercises to be healthy, but shouldn't you be thinking about all this later?
I mean, you are having a baby but you want to go back to doing so many things so soon after giving birth.
Don't you want to spend more time with your newborn?
Don't take this as bashing or anything, I'm just wondering.

Anyway, I think your plan should work fine. Just make sure you're eating right and not TOO little. I heard that it's better to eat small snacks every 3 hours or so instead of 3 meals a day so you might want to try that?

instead of asking members who are mostly still in high school, you should ask a professional, like your own mother, or go to a bookstore and search for books about motherhood

Yeah, I think you should concentrate on keeping your energy up because having a baby will be very demanding. After giving birth, give your body some rest and recover time (since a baby just came out of you).

it's nice that you want to get back into shape after you have a baby, honestly you won't need to do ALL of that to get back. breast feeding works wonders. my cousin lost over 50lbs in a month by just breast feeding.

also depending on how you have your baby it will make a difference. if you can have your baby vaginally, you lose more weight than if you had a c section. and if you have a c section you wont be able to run for a while because your wound will probably hurt.

but i think you'll be too preoccupied with your new baby to want to go and do all those things all at once wink.gif
congrats and good luck!

i don't think you should be concentrating on loosing weight just after you've had a baby!!
just concentrate on your new born rather then letting your partner handle the baby whilst you loose weight

it's advised for women who have just given birth to rest for a few months before doing any sort of exercise/diet etc

i mean, your body has just gone through 9-10months of hell carrying a growing baby and stuff!!! give it a break!!!!
