So here is the problem: I moved my computer from downstairs to upstairs, and now everything else is fine(some programs were removed) except the speaker is NOT WORKING... sad.gif(
It says that I don't have an audio device, which I do.
it is connected properly, and I even tried connecting other speakers or earphones,
but still no sound is coming out from my computer.
I found out that the audio driver (sound card driver) is missing, that is why the sound system is not working.

So can someone please help me out from here?
What program or software or driver or whatever do I need to download?
and where do you get it?

You need to look at what model yur sound card is and go on the manufacturer website and download the drivers
Or if yu have yur driver installation CD use that instead (the cd that comes with yur computer)

if yu need help finding yur drivers yu can post yur sound card model here and ill help yu find it
Follow this step to find out yur sound card model

Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Under the volume tab

hi!
i agree with what he recommended above.

try finding the installer disc first.

if not you can try downloading it from the manufacturers site..

or if not you can look for some on the net...

just google it...

How odd, I wonder if their sound card physically got loose. Not sure if it would help, but system restore might bring back the old configuration with the sound drivers still intact.
